VGK are making it a habit of taking penalties right at the end of periods. In theory, it's the best time to take them, but eventually penalty trouble always catches up.

VGK are fortunate on that 4-on-4 that the Avs didn't have their shooting accuracy honed in. It was a barrage of danger and Hart didn't have to touch any of them.

VGK survive the end of the 1st period. It was looking like it was going to be VGK's best period of the first 4 but the goal and the last few shifts kind of changed it. The best players on VGK's roster got a number of dangerous chances, didn't convert any of them.

The stories about Dylan Coghlan are going to be awesome with all the quotes that have been given about him tonight. Such a cool story and an awesome moment for a guy who deserves it as much as anyone. Very easy player to root for. And apparently to stick into the lineup in the middle of the playoffs despite barely playing in the NHL this season.
