In the coming weeks you are going to witness a campaign that systematically dismantles Iran’s entire political and military physical infrastructure; with only a small fraction of our military capabilities. Venezuela ✅ Iran ⏭️ Cuba ⏭️

The best defense is a good offense, we need more JASSM/LRASM-XR, expanded Patriots and THAAD lines, and substantially more prepositioned LHRW for overwhelming conventional first strike against China. Priority should be that and getting the current fleet as ready as possible. There’s not enough time between now and go time against China to start any new initiatives or large programs.

US needs a totally new air defense strategy. This also includes congressional advocacy, procurement, etc. Leadership has failed us here. Little movement for many years when it was clear the nature of the mission was morphing rapidly. Time for a new playbook. We are in no way ready for the Pacific.

@Aviation_Intel Unless we got some new doomsday weapons, or Goldern Shields against Chinese nukes, all the air defence spending just waste of money for fear of escalation. As long as what we have is good enough to take out potential Vietnamese nuclear ambitions, it's good enuf for the Pacific.

True or false: when the F-22 first entered service in 2005, it could not exchange data with any other U.S. warplane?

@vcdgf555 @TankerTrackers Or, hear me out. The 18 months of continuous strikes on their infrastructure has left them incapable of launching any meaningful attacks.

@TankerTrackers I've been semi-wondering if the whole point of their delay was to collect as many tankers in the Red Sea once they do get involved.
