The Ecclesia Dei groups (FSSP, etc) were started directly in response to Archbishop Lefebvre’s actions, which they deemed to be schismatic. I’m not sure why there continues to be surprise on this topic, given the origin of the groups. There is a real need to revisit the basics

That being said, I sincerely hope that the good minded priests belonging to these groups realise how untenable their official position is, and come over to the SSPX; where it is more than semblance of Tradition. Then we can have true unity not under compromise.

Pope Leo congratulates Female Anglican Pro-LGBT, Pro-Abortion ‘Archbishop', with “May the Holy Spirit come down upon you and make you fruitful in the Lord's service.”, while the SSPX receive threat of excommunication for wanting to consecrate Catholic Bishops. Mind blowing.
