the death of this doctor reminded me of my colleague who did Housemanship Delta statetoo... same Delta state! a patient died and they became violent... the nurses had to whisk him quickly to the nurses station,... they pit a Wig on his head... they placed a freaking wig on his head!... gave him a nursing apparel to wear and he was fully dressed as a woman! This was how he escaped!... they came with cutlasses and weapons to kill... to kill a doctor👀👀 In summary, If the Government rates doctors, they will pay them well. If the states respect doctors, they will provide adequate security at hospitals If Nigerians rate doctors, they won't even think of hurting doctors, they will pay for their consultations... we don't rate Nigerian doctors.

🚨 BREAKING: Another Warri Doctor in ICU After Systemic Failure. We have just received a devastating update. A House Officer at Central Hospital, Warri, slumped yesterday and is currently fighting for his life in the ICU. This is not just a "collapse." This is the tragic result of a system that abandoned him months ago. In February, this same doctor was beaten for 20 minutes by hoodlums arranged by a patient's relative. The first 5 minutes of that beating happened at the hospital gate, right where the security post was, while guards were slow to respond. He sustained severe facial and abdominal injuries. He has not been the same since. Since that day, he has been in and out of sickness, unable to function at full capacity, yet still trying to serve a system that failed to protect him. While his attackers were never caught and the hospital moved on, this young doctor carried the physical complications of that assault alone. Yesterday, during a meeting to discuss the recent Saturday attack on his colleagues, he excused himself because he felt unwell. On his way to the hostel to rest, he slumped and collapsed on the ground. If he had been the one on duty this past Saturday, he would have faced another round of beating while yet to recover from the first. Our hospitals are no longer safe. We are calling on the Delta State Government: Why were the February attackers never arrested? Why was this doctor left to suffer without justice? He was beaten for serving you. Now he is in the ICU. We demand justice.
