@Finchinator2 I made top 400 in OU with a team using 3 ZU mons & without a single OU mon.
Something I learned was how while current ZU mons can become viable in the right circumstances, they were only able to thrive due to a very specific gameplan + needed every mon on the team to function

Have you ever tried to use Lapras and had success? Would love to see you bit top 100 or even top 500 with it!
Fun fact: a creative player did earlier this generation, but even they admit it’s not exactly an ideal OU Pkmn.

@JA1M33M_SSB Play super defensively, rarely approach if ever & mostly just try and whiff punish, always have at least one block on the ground between you and kazuya when you can, don't be afraid to use block in the air to mixup landings, minecart is especially broken in the kaz matchup too.

@Mrbluebob2 Yeah 90% of what I was referring to was the conversion and knowing I had to jab sfair fair instead of continuing to jab or go for jab utilt, the rest was just muscle memory and following SDI

@_Toiler I think the worst part is that it converted into a kill but its vs kaz so that's fine really

@BukeUnited Rockman has a solid guide on learning it but imo a lot of is labbing the timing repeatedly to make it more muscle memory. You could try one of the face buttons for jump but it's pretty tricky to manage that plus the joysticks simultaneously while comboing

@Pigboi666 Steve wins it pretty solidly but only if you play super defensively, most of Steves damage in the matchup comes from whiff punishing his moves with minecart/fast oos options

@LukasAllgood I lost the set but this matchup is super fun for me at least, it's like a game of cat and mouse but we can both kill eachother at 0%

Made top 400 on the OU ladder on showdown with this Mono Electric team I made, pretty proud of it considering the fact there isn't a single OU pokemon on the team. Might make a video on it because it was a lot of fun coming up with this team and figuring out how to win with it
