To be brutally honest — Amorim has exceeded my expectations. Like sure — we could have had 3-4 wins more or whatever. But I think we have played better against the top teams under him than I expected.
I know that others expected more and instant improvement.
ETH also greatest exceeded my expectations.
You can always go on a fairy tale run, but just look around the league. We are a 6-10 team at best — and with the absurd pressure on a squad that only can fail risk are that we finish 10-15.

But it’s Jim and the Glazers who directly are behind the fact that we have a bottom 3 GK in the PL. That we yet again only have one striker on the squad, who is inexperienced at that. That our inner mid rank in the bottom 10 of the PL. And so forth.
Sure, take Reuben behind the barn and put him out of his misery and sign Kieran McKenna or Iraola or Zidane or whomever — and we will be top 4? Why should things be different?
We aren’t good enough. We have invested much less in our squad than our rivals for decades. Signings we make constantly fail because they don’t get support. How long before we are loaning Sesko back to Leipzig?
Ratcliffe has an estimated wealth of 17,000,000,000. He spent 1bn on buying a stake in United. It’s not a cost — he can get the money back anytime he wants. Push in 200-300m more and get like a proper GK like a Donnarumma, a Baleba and an experienced striker — and this club would be back. All signings wouldn’t be flops. We would be in the CL. We wouldn’t have to fire a manager every other season.
Aston Villa’s owner has invested more in Villa the last 3 years that Ratcliffe has invested in United. Everton’s owner has invested more than double in Everton than what Ratcliffe has invested in United the last years. It’s a disgrace.

At 17 I scored 18 PL goals (winning the Golden Boot), Wazza scored 6.
At 18 I again scored 18 goals (again winning the Golden Boot and coming 4th in The Ballon d’Or), Wazza scored 9. In our opening 7 seasons, Wazza didn’t outscore me once (117 goals v 80). In which time I became the 2nd youngest Ballon d’Or winner ever. Injuries hindered me from then on while he sustained his level. Therefore, he’ll go down as a better player than me. But, at 17, please……
