@Meldougherty77 "BiZaRrE BeHaViOr" And it's literally just her crying over her dead husband, being sad that her kids lost their dad, being traumatized, and being angry her man was killed by some loser whose only noteworthy attribute is the significance of the person he killed.

@ToonHive @TheDirect The movie got a whole animated series. There really isn't more story to tell with these characters. Not that that would have stopped Disney before...so I'm pleasantly surprised they made this decision.

@KYVAMIguy @MikeWingerii Its gotta be an ugly, corrosive feeling to think everything around you isn't real. It will destroy your mind to think that way long term. The spirit of conspiracy comes from Satan. He was the first to question truth and reality. Dont fall into that.

@desert_starr_57 He probably reasoned he's lived a long, eventful life and if he's gonna go, its not gonna be while he's cowering under a table. Or he really doesn't care, lol.

Imagine thinking you're going down in history as some latter-day Brutus or John Wilkes Booth by killing the President of the United States but instead you get taken down, stripped naked, wrapped in tinfoil and the President posts pictures like this of you on his social media. 😭

You must understand—Leftists don’t believe political violence is evil. They don’t believe evil even exists. They believe only in power, oppression, and liberation. They see violence as a valid tool to achieve their goals. This is mainstream Leftist thought.

@Jordan_S90 You can explain anything away if you really want to. Anything. That's why it isn't enough to just "ask questions". Satan asked questions that made Adam and Eve doubt. "Did God really say?" Are the questions you are asking grounded in truth and reality? If not, you've strayed.

I just spoke with a Candace Owens cultist who asked me what Candace had ever lied about. I told her she lied when she claimed Charlie Kirk was becoming Catholic. The cultist said, “No, she didn’t.” So I replied, “So you’re saying Charlie Kirk was lying about his own spiritual beliefs in his final moments when he said, ‘No, I’m not Catholic—I’m an evangelical Christian’?” And the Candace cultist answered, “Yes, Charlie Kirk was lying about his own spiritual beliefs.” Pay attention, everyone—these are the kind of people you’re dealing with when you engage with a Candace cultist. Pure dishonesty, and all rationality escapes them.

Retards starting tweeting that the assassination attempt was "staged" 10 seconds after it happened. No evidence for that claim. No reason to make it. Nothing at all. Just a narrative constructed out of whole cloth. They have the guy in custody, alive. And yet they'll still say this was somehow a hoax. You have to understand that, for a lot of people in this country, the truth just doesn't matter. It makes no difference to them. The truth is whatever they want it to be. These are the same people who spent years claiming that men can give birth the babies. They're living in fantasyland. They cannot differentiate between the things they wish are real and the things that are actually real. They don't recognize the distinction between these categories. They're toddlers in adult bodies. Their brains and souls are malformed. There's no saving them.

@darwintojesus Paul didn't fight slavery for the same reason Jesus didn't outright lead a rebellion against the Romans like the Jews wanted him to. Jesus mission was saving the world. Paul's mission was proclaiming the gospel. They were focused on a heavenly goal. That being said 1/2

"Paul **should** have said Masters let your slaves go." Here's the problem. Alex O'Conner is an emotivist. That means he sees things he doesn't like and he emotes. "Slavery, boo!" If Alex personally has a negative emotional reaction to slavery, why does Paul two thousand years ago have a real and meaningful obligation to tell masters to let their slaves go? He doesn't. Alex has to pretend to be a moral realist to make this argument work, and even then he's not doing an internal critique of Christianity. Paul was an Apostle with divine inspiration, whatever he wrote is authoritative and it's been preserved and passed down through the church for thousands of years. So from a Christian perspective Paul would be right, that's why he was given authority by God to teach and start churches. Alex is doing an external critique while pretending to do an internal critique, and at the same time and he's pretending like to be a moral realist to hold this all together. It's a mess. But why didn't Paul tell masters to let their slaves go? I don't know but I can guess. Firstly, has anyone considered what might happens to a slave found without their master in ancient Rome? That probably wouldn't go well for the slave. Also, slaves were taken care of by their masters, would their lives be easier if they're just released to fend for themselves? They'd be at the bottom of the hierarchy, probably with very little ability to survive when freed. Is it not entirely possible that freeing all the slaves would just lead to more suffering for the very people you're trying to help? It seems like slow reform might be a much more realistic option, and that's exactly what Paul encourages. When Paul comes into contact with the runaway slave Onesimus, he sends him back to his master saying "recieve him no longer as a slave, but as a beloved brother." Paul is fundamentally redefining the relationship from property... to family. That's revolutionary. Is it really any wonder that Christianity did eventually abolish slavery all around the world?

@LeaveHeardAlone @fandompulse "All art is political" No. You're just politically obsessed and can see the world through no other lense. "Politics" for you is the highest form of meaning than can be imbued into anything so you project that onto all art. "Politics" does not equal a message.

Project Hail Mary writer Andy Weir on social commentary in books: "I dislike social commentary. Like… I really hate it. When I’m reading a book, I just want to be entertained, not preached at by the author. Plus, it ruins the wonder of the story if I know the author has a political or social axe to grind. I no longer speculate about all possible outcomes of the story because I know for a fact that the universe of that book will conspire to ensure that the author’s political agenda is validated. I hate that." "I put no politics or social commentary into my stories at all. Anyone who thinks they see something like that is reading it in on their own. I have no point to make, and I’m not trying to affect the reader’s opinion on anything. My sole job is to entertain, and I stick to that." "To that end, I also don’t talk about my personal political opinions publicly. I don’t want readers to even know, honestly. I don’t want that in the back of their minds as they read my stuff." Is this why he has the #1 sci-fi movie in decades?

@HormoneHangover Its in her expression. Eyebrows angled up in a tender look. Her gentle smile. Her gaze pointed directly at the baby. Shes longing, but her arms have a death grip on her case and she is desaturated. She will never give up her career.

everyone has a lot of interpretations of this. If only there was a speech bubble saying “I’m so charmed but scared to let go of my career!” Or “I’m cringing at that sloppy mom, I would never want kids!!” But alas we must live with subjectivity in art siiiigh

Professing Christians who are offended by this are telling on themselves. Jesus is going to marry a formerly promiscuous Bride. Some of you are acting like you won’t be part of the wedding.
Trevor Sheatz@TrevorSheatz

My wife was formerly promiscuous. I was a virgin. She was then radically born-again. Committed to church, evangelized constantly, Puritan books in her bedroom, prayer journals, grief over past sexual sin, etc. We got to know each other well for over a year, dated for four months, engaged for two and a half, and didn't sin sexually with one another. Our first kiss with each other was at the altar on our wedding day (reaction pic attached!). We've been married for over five years now, and she's been the most wonderful and godly wife, mother to our three children, and homemaker you could imagine. She's more pure than most virgins, as biblical purity has less to with past sins (though they certainly matter) and more to do with one's current posture of the heart and daily decisions to honor the Lord (Matt. 5:8). We're far too quick to forget the story of the woman labeled as a known "sinner" (likely a prostitute) in Luke 7:36-50 who was washing Jesus' feet with her tears while kissing them too. The Pharisees were shocked that Jesus let a public sinner do this. Jesus responded with a parable about debts being forgiven and ended with this powerful conclusion: "Her many sins have been forgiven; that’s why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little" (Luke 7:47). Everyone seems to highlight the benefits of virginity, and it certainly is a blessing. But we forget to highlight the benefits of being forgiven much as well. My wife knows the depths of Jesus' forgiveness more than most people, enabling her to more easily live out a life of passionate love for her Savior. A woman or man's past sexual sin matters. But what matters far more when it comes to deciding who to marry is if the person is truly born again, if their repentance is real, if they truly have a heart for Christ, if they truly follow Jesus and obey his commands. "God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world — what is viewed as nothing — to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, so that no one may boast in his presence. It is from him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom from God for us — our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, — in order that, as it is written: 'Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.'" (1 Cor. 1:27-31) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!" (2 Cor. 5:17)

According to his interpretation of Islamic law below, there should be no punishment for raping a girl under 9, and it is no sin to molest even an infant. He goes on to say that if a man rapes his child bride and her genitals tear completely, she may still be considered his wife and he may still have complete rights to her. This is the ideology we’re importing in droves
Drew Pavlou 🇦🇺🇺🇸🇺🇦🇹🇼@DrewPavlou

Today I decided to download the Ayatollah Khomenei's manual of Islamic law, the Tahrir al-Wasilah. Page 229, Volume 3: ''Intercourse with a woman is not allowed unless she attains the age of nine years, regardless whether the marriage is permanent or temporary. There is, however, no objection in other sexual enjoyments like touching lasciviously, hugging and rubbing the thighs, even with a suckling infant.''

@conservmillen @KristanHawkins The entire story of the Bible is based on God's complete demand of the death penalty for crimes. To argue it's immoral makes Christ's death and purpose immoral as well.

@TheInsiderPaper I stopped watching police body cam footage on YouTube because the amount of mentally ill people being arrested and thrown back onto the streets because there was no proper help for them was horrifying. I hope this leads to positive change.
