So people have been asking to see my @illuviumio tactics prototype, and I finally got it to a state where I am happy to record some footage. The concept for the game is simple, but unique! I am combining many of the components of Plants vs Zombies, adding in my own spin with levelling up towers and evolution, like you might see in a Fire Emblem campaign, and then throwing in Slay the Spire esque deckbuilding on top. Improve your deck, play out high action tower defence gameplay, and reach the boss of the level, before moving on to harder challenges. Mechanically it's in a decent spot, I'll add in more content, evolutions and so on, then I'll do a more serious visual pass for the final vertical slice! Vibe Coding doesn't make it instant, but it takes care of all the skills I don't have, so I can focus on making the game fun to play! Anyways I hope you enjoy the gameplay :)
