R Bharat journalist sl@pped in Nepal. The repercussions of venom, that likes of Arnab Goswami spew from their studios, is faced by such reporters. Even GenZ of Nepal knows who's Godi media and who's not.

@janetacarr Why dont you just compile qemu to WASM with emscripten, then run it in your browser , launch docker inside the qemu-VM and docker run your nodejs app ?

docker is supposed to solve the "works on my machine" problem but often I find that it just adds another layer to the "works on my machine" problem esp if you use a mac

@MilesCranmer Are there any docs for this? I remember there was a whole section on the design decision why this wasn’t allowed.

IISER Pune was made by Central government for promotion of science. But the director Sunil Bhagwat instead is allowing THIS anti Hindu pro terrorism display deliberately on the day of #Ramnavmi! Then everyone wonders why China is ahead 🙄

Muslims targeted now it will b Christians An article in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) mouthpiece, Organiser, has said that it is not the Waqf Board but the Catholic Church of India which is the largest landholder in the country. The article 'Who has more land in India? The Catholic Church vs Waqf Board Debate' published on April 3 said: "For many years, there has been a common belief that the Waqf Board is the second largest landowner in India after the government, however, this claim does not align with the actual data on land ownership in the country. The Catholic Church of India holds the distinction of being the largest non-governmental landowner, possessing vast tracts of land spread across the country." The article also said that the Catholic Church owns around 17.29 crore acres (7 crore hectares) of land throughout the country. Much of its land was acquired during British rule. In 1927, the British administration passed the Indian Church Act, facilitating large-scale land grants to the Church," it said. The Organiser article also pointed to a major contention, whether some of the land was obtained through questionable means. The article assumes significance as it came at a time when the Waqf bill, subsequently passed by both Houses of Parliament, was being debated. 0rganiser has opposed the constitution and Indian tricolour in 1950

Youll forgot to mention it also comes with reactant.jl out of the box , so one can use GPUs and TPUs directly from julia , downside is setting up custom pkgs in colab is slow & no way to set up a reusable env so youre always precompiling packages which aren't in the default env
Colaboratory@GoogleColab

Big news! 🎉 Colab now officially supports Julia runtimes! These runtimes are pre-installed with key packages like CSV, DataFrames, Makie, Plots, and others to take advantage of GPU and TPU support. We’re excited to complete the original Jupyter triad (Ju-Pyt-R) and bring easy Julia access to everyone. Try it out by selecting Runtime>Change runtime type>Julia. 🐍📊📈

@dhruvrahtee @pavan_sethi Modi government encouraged people to clap and bang utensils during the COVID-19 pandemic as part of the Janata Curfew on March 22, 2020 as a gesture of appreciation for healthcare workers, police, and other frontline workers who were risking their lives during the crisis.

@dhruvrahtee This was a clap towards acknowledgement and encouragement to the health workers who were on the frontlines that time. People like you never understood why this was done, but would appreciate the same thing when done in western countries.

@sathya_opines @dharanisalem I switched to Sanskrit as 2nd lang in 10th std just to escape hindi, exams were very simple. I had so much more leisure and time to study other subjects instead of sitting and mugging up for hindi . Best decision. (Only bcs Sanskrit exams were toned down much more than hindi)

@dharanisalem Such a waste of time to be taught Sanskrit when it has absolutely no value in getting employment unless someone wants to become a priest. This nonsense of pushing useless, politically motivated things down our throat has exacerbated since 2014!

At the least a dozen of class 8th students from this Kendriya Vidhyala school reached out to me informing that this school, right in the center of chennai, offers only Hindi / Sanskrit as an optional language for 10th board exam and unfortunately no Tamil is offered. Their 3 language policy - Hindi, Sanskrit, and English. If this happening in Tamil Nadu already what would happen if we accept NEP / 3 language policy ? Within the next 20 years no student in Tamil Nadu will know Tamil. #HindiNotNationalLanguage #FairDelimitationForTN #stophindiimposition

The asymmetry between matter and antimatter in our universe is so extreme that it took until 1932 to detect a single antimatter particle It's not like electricity where humans wondered about static phenomena for ages but only found an explanation late

@ShriramKMurthi In some encodings( like utf8) bytes/ char isn't same for all char. The usual alphabets and numbers will consume 1 byte per character , but emoji might consume more . If they have limited the number of bytes to be 2048 , using an emoji will reduce max chars u can use

TIL that a comment on Google Docs has a character limit of 2048 characters—BUT, sometimes it stops short at 2047, 2042, etc. The former is presumably tied to a data model of server storage. I'm a bit surprised by the latter. Anyone know more?
