i might start watching andrew tate videos tbh this man has one of the best intuitive understandings of the discursive nature of power tate claims that as a man during courtship the woman has all the power. the man only has power after the woman has sex with him a woman really only begins to need you after she has sex with you. she needs you to be nice to her and call her back, because she doesn't want to feel like a whore, and if you pull away she'll try harder to draw you back it seems trite but it's not just talking about emotional power to determine how the other person feels. its a very discursive understanding of power as being the one with the ability to retroactionally determine what an event or action meant if the girl agrees to sleep with you, then all your efforts wooing her over is just a demonstration of your ability to satisfy her, if she doesn't, then you're a loser. who you are as a person is determined by her choice to have sex with you if a guy won't text and call and treat you well after sex, then you're just a whore, you had a one night stand, you meant nothing. if he's nice to you and spends time with you and takes you on dates even though he has nothing "further" to gain then well it's just love at first night i mean tate can't possibly be more evil than foucault, can he?

Andrew Tate on how to tell if a girl is a suitable long term partner: “After you sleep together reduce your attention by 65%” “Shorter replies, more delays etc…”

@sanjehorah "the way to neutralise and counter sadism is to basically show the other that their destruction of you didnt destroy you. to hold frame." I don't understand, is this an instruction directed towards Tate or towards his women?

is tate a sadist? everyone can tell he acts as sadistic to his women as possible. but the point of sadism is to see that the other is not destroyed by your destruction. it is a failure of women that they are so easily destroyed the way to neutralise and counter sadism is to basically show the other that their destruction of you didnt destroy you. to hold frame. because a woman's hysterical aggression and shittests are a demand for a better master. to hold frame against a woman's hysteria is the central tenet of game in the most traditional sense where tate goes wrong is that he thinks holding frame is to assert your Will harder until it dominates the other's. what i think it should be is: don't buy into their frame of hobbesian rivalry and hatred. respond with schopenhaurian compassion, so you can surpass the endless struggle of Will against Will but hysteria is a demand for a BETTER master, not a demand to be dominated. where most men fail at "game" when they try to hold frame is that they think being stubborn like a wall to maintain impose their frame on the woman is what it means to not get longhoused. but sex is knowledge and we seek to destroy the objet petit a and to know fully is to destroy fully so if a man responds predictably unyieldingly a woman can "know" him and have him destroyed in her mind hysteria is a demand for a better master but her hysteria shows she already sees you as her master (it's already a given, relax) so more than that her hysteria is a demand for you to show your ability to surpass yourself, to prove your capacity for love and grace and compassion and exceed the "inevitability" of Will against Will

@mattparlmer And they're going to be totally surprised when the actual state will want to have a word about that. Hint: the state has a monopoly on violence.

Open secret that the big AI labs see themselves as emergent state-like entities in the vein of the distributed polities in “Diamond Age” or “Terra Ignota”, which is pretty funny bc staff at said labs always seem surprised when state-like dynamics such as internal politics crop up

@archipelag0_man This is really insightful, but to what extent can that kind of understanding still be called “historical” rather than anthropological? The essay might be the best form for conveying understanding of the human condition more generally, which might take its material from
