@tapasadhikary I always do. Whenever I find myself making up things while answering a question I say upright “I am not sure, haven’t got a chance to work on it” or “I am not sure I am just thinking out loud here” generally.

Do you think it is ok to say, "I don't know" in an interview? Or, should we always try to make it up in some way?

@svpino One can easily build something but can they fix it just as easily when it doesn’t work? When one doesn’t have the understanding what would they tell the AI to fix?

Last year, I met a person who has never written a single line of code in his life, yet he feels he can build anything he wants. He told me point-blank: "I challenge you to tell me something I can't build using AI." I tried to explain, but I couldn't find the right words. The most fascinating aspect of vibe-coding is how it has convinced so many people to believe they are better and more capable than they really are.

I used to be big on type-hinting in Python. Over time I realized: Mostly I end up reading types instead of logic. If a function needs a magnifying glass to understand, readability already lost. Types should support code — not drown it. So I use them much less in projects.

@JorgeCastilloPr You can use tinted glass setting. And can reduce transparency for even better readability.

The fact that I don't have to copy paste anything from the browser to ask questions about it is enough for me to use AI browsers (like Atlas). Such a time saver.

Why are people using AI models (and "agents") to complicate their lives? Most of what you are automating doesn't need automation 😕

@_jaydeepkarale Deletion adds friction, but awareness adds control. Every time I pick up my phone, I state the reason, even though mentally like "to scroll reddit", "to check mail". If it’s just scrolling or something stupid, my brain shuts it down. So I often end up not doing it.

Unpopular opinion: Deleting app is for the weak(I get the increased friction rationale) But if you don't have self control you NGMI
