@cccaaaaadd I do buy used stuff. My point was in the case of, for example, the only way to play Paper Mario TTYD before it was remade was to either emulate it, or pay some guy on ebay like 250 dollars for a copy, which is absolutely obscene. Why should I pay him 250 when I could pay 60?

You have no idea man. Growing up in an abusive household with parents that had no morals to teach, Goku and Naruto were there for me, to give me examples on how to be a better person . Even to this day at 26, characters like Aigis, Arcueid, Morgana, they all have profound affects on me and continue to shape who I am. I genuinely wouldn't be the same person without the art I've experienced. A lot of it being anime/anime adjacent.
