@aryanlabde nice, any plans on how to make the trial users convert to paid?
English

7 days since I launched my first SaaS.
- 1143 visitors
- 45 signups
- $0 MRR
- $0 revenue
2 trials are ongoing, need them to convert!

@builtbyangelo @om_patel5 fake MRRs are often used to build engagement on twitter, which can then be used to create a community (or rather a target group) to sell them stuff, so its basically form of marketing i guess? take a look at below thread
x.com/dillionverma/s…
Dillion@dillionverma
i bootstrapped my first app from 0 to $300k MRR in 45 days no vc, no paid ads, no influencers
English

@om_patel5 No argument there.
But the caveat comes when people use this platform to potentially scam others.
It’s a gray area that could lead to some trouble down the line if put in the wrong hands.
But aye, more power to them

I work with shadcn/ui every day. I design with it, I build with it, and I see a lot of projects built with it.
And honestly? Many of them look the same. Or worse - they look broken.
Colors that clash. Fonts that don't pair. Dark modes that feel like an afterthought.
The components themselves are great. The theming that people or AI make? Not so much.
So I built a tool to fix that.
I just launched my @shadcn theme generator that will allow you to ship beautiful shadcn/ui themes in just 3-4 clicks.
What it does:
- Creates your entire color palette from 1 color (your hex or any tailwind color)
- Works for light and dark theme
- Only includes fonts that actually look good in UI
- Font pairings I curated myself
- Works for any project - landing page, dashboard, store
- Has a color contast checker for the entire palette
Too lazy? Just use random theme feature
Done? Copy and paste the CSS to your global.css file or import to our Figma kit.

@cosminc @yacineMTB i feel like the Practical Electronics for Inventors is not praised enough, it's literally a all-in-one electronics bible for self-taught people
English

@yacineMTB How did you manage to learn electronics so quickly? Or you had previous knowledge? Any book that you recommend?
I'm looking to start this as a hobby, currently waiting for my copy of Practical Electronics for Inventors - Scherz & Monk to arrive.

remember, about a year or two years ago, when I told you all to start pivoting to hardware?
now i'm a founder of a hardware defense tech startup. a year ago i did not know how to solder

Most agencies take 4-5 weeks to deliver a landing page.
We ship ours in 48 hours. And they convert at 7.8%.
We built an AI-powered system using @claudeai Opus 4.6 + @framer that handles everything: copy, structure, design specs in a single sprint.
We packaged the entire playbook into a free Notion doc.
Comment "LANDING" + follow and I'll DM it to you.

@SoraiaDev so how do you deal with stuff like firewall, scalling or cashing on self-hosted VPS? do you mind sharing how big traffic do you have on your project?
English

Finally making the move.
I'm paying €30+/month for Vercel + Supabase.
Moving everything to Hetzner + Coolify for €5.49/month.
Am I crazy or is everyone overpaying?

I tried Firebase yesterday. Worst developer experience I've ever had. Does anyone actually use this? 😭
English

@Zukoife @Bhavani_00007 Basically all of them, you can simply choose which one you want or just go with AUTO mode

English

@nathan_covey The 16" becomes inconvenient if you travel a lot or even if you move between the office and home couple times a week
13" air is the best option in my opinion - extra light, extra small and extra convenient. And in case you need a bigger screen, just get yourself a monitor
