Here are the facts: Yes, I shared the screen grab with Joe Kent because I was told I could trust him and I wanted EVERY possible lead pursued. We've done this quietly behind the scenes with countless items. Yes he did suggest I make it public. I declined. A few weeks later the screen grab was leaked anyway. I'm not going to recklessly tarnish somebody's reputation if I don't have irrefutable proof, but now that my name's being brought up, it's time to address it.

Since some silly claims are being made right now: No, Charlie Kirk did not "hate" @benshapiro. Charlie and Ben differed about the best direction for the conservative movement. Ben supported Ron DeSantis in the 2024 primary while Charlie was all-in for Trump from the start. JD Vance was one of Charlie's favorite politicians, while Ben has been critical of him. Charlie saw Ben as a rival: They both had high-profile shows and major conservative organizations, and Charlie wanted his to be bigger. Charlie sometimes found Ben frustrating or annoying, because he thought Ben was too interventionist, prioritized Israel too much, and the like. And yeah, I'm sure there was personality friction too. But whatever their differences, Ben defended Charlie from bogus claims of racism and never joined in ridiculous smears labeling him an antisemite. If Charlie hated Ben, he wouldn't have kept inviting him to AmericaFest and having him on our show (including the day before his death). He wouldn't have kept going on Ben's show. He wouldn't have had TPUSA and Daily Wire collaborate on a documentary just last year. There were plenty of people on the right whom Charlie denounced and refused to work with. Ben wasn't one of them.
