Which is your current IDE of choice ?

on 13 June last year I woke up with an idea and have been working on it since. I’m 64, and had been retired for over 4 years. I spent my career leading the creating of valuable new IT systems from scratch. The idea is an AI powered web based tool to help retired people who feel ready to reenter the workplace, on their terms. Building it with AI (Cursor, Gemini/GPT/Claude - Google cloud + some other stuff, including some other APIs). So far: payment, login, submission of cv and answers to questions, and report generation. Report quality currently truly awful. Current problems: storage, emailing and whatsapping of report; getting Meta brand protection; latest round of refactoring and general cleaning up; then on to report quality; then UI.

Popped into my favourite supermarket for some essentials today. The products are beautiful, the staff are superb, the wrapping is perfect and the whole experience is beyond any other shop I know. Other supermarkets are available, but I have no idea why one would shop in them.

I used to train at Sandy Boys club until we moved from the village and got local boxer Joe Bugner's autograph on a paper plate! Different times indeed

Today, it's crazy to think that boxing used to be in the school curriculum. London, 1930s ⏳️
