My failure arc: 2019: hated my job 2020: got a new job to “fix” my problem 2021: started a marketing business and made $50k+ in 3-4 months time 2022: funnel stopped working and I couldn’t sell anything. Shifted to coaching and helped a “friend” go from 0-90k followers on instagram. Ran a cohort together and were ready to build the business of our dreams. 2023: my “friend and business partner” ghosted me. He was making $10k+ per month from his audience and brand deals. 2024: lost. Confused. No income or job. Got into debt just to survive. Failed multiple businesses. 2025: working odd jobs to make a living. Try living across the country because it’s always been a dream of mine. 2026: land a very good job at a fortune 100 company working remote. Still haven’t given up on the dream. It just took a while to try again. 13 followers on my new account. Unsure about where it will lead. Hoping to finally build the business of my dreams online. I have what feels like “all the knowledge” I need, just something to click. I’ve built brands. I’ve built audiences. I have plenty of students with 20k, 30k 50k and 100k audiences using what I taught them. Just never clicked for me. I’ve made money from business. I’ve sold things for a living for the last 7 years. I know branding, marketing, and built many products of my own. Even built a mini course and sold it making $1200 with virtually no audience. I’ve “done it all”. To any young man out there who is trying to make it and it just feels impossible. We’re on the same journey. I have a lot of experience in things but I haven’t made it. But I know the struggle and how depressed you can get feeling like nothing goes your way no matter what happens. And even when something good happens it never quite pans out to actually change our lives and give us the freedom we so desperately want. The freedom to travel, to live from anywhere, to work on meaning projects, time freedom to work 1 hour a day, 2 hours or 12 hours. Whatever we want. Not feeling locked in a cage our entire lives. Slaving away at someone else’s command. Just to unlock the cage. To crawl out of it and start to spread our wings and see where the wind takes us. To not have a life so gosh dang predictable. Wake up when we are told. Work when we are told. Do whatever we are told. Go to bed when we are told because we have to function for the next day of being told what to do. How is that a life. Makes no freaking sense. Let’s crawl out of this pit together. Let’s go do something freaking awesome. Send me a message if you want to connect. Let’s work on something meaningful together until we build the freedom we want. And not stop a second sooner. Cheers to the future friends. Let’s get it.

What if we got to the end of our time here and realized everything we created and this whole idea of chasing a better life was all an illusion that kept us trapped in the most unassuming way.

Young men in your 20’s, tomorrow isn’t a guarantee. Do it. Go travel. Start the project. Post it. No regrets.

@tailopez Unfortunately someone I know who was 23 passed away last Friday. Another reminder we might not have time to get to that project or travel to that place we dreamed about. Do it now. No regrets.

Procrastination is not laziness. It's selfish. It assumes you'll have time later to do what really matters. You might not.

I turned 25 this years. It’s true. What scary is if 7 years went that fast. I’ll be 35 in 10 more. Will I blink and those 10 years are gone? How does time not appear to be linear. 5 years can feel like 1. And 1 year can feel like 5. I know it sounds ridiculous, but can we in a way expand time?

@TEEPHTREND Beautifully written, I think allowing ourselves to take a much longer time to heal than we think is key. Go sit by the ocean or lake. Lay in the grass for hours. This can feel like a “waste of time” but it heals. More than we know.

Nobody tells you how hard it is to rewire your brain so you can allow amazing things to happen to you after so much trauma or hurt. Blessings exist, good people exist, a softer life exists. Let it happen.

@Thebiglade When people say they don’t care at all, I get curious. I think we all care to some degree. It’s a sliding scale and it varies from day to day. One day you care the next you don’t. It’s such a complicated topic it’s hard to get into the nuances. In general, I try not to care.

@edgaralandough It seems like we are all together on this spectrum to some degree. It may not be much but we’ve all experienced these symptoms at some point. The reframe is huge. I think ADHD can be someone’s biggest strength. For me, it helps hyper focus on one thing. Lean into your “weakness”.

@cookedbrowisdom Letting go sounds soft until you realize control is what’s choking the upside. Flow needs room, and most people grip way too tight. Followed for this 🌊

What is a valuable skill? The ability to let go isn’t something that comes to mind. But the inability to let go will cost you the very freedom you so desperately want. Let go of what you think is right, and allow your creativity to fall into an unstoppable state of flow.

@ysuckme Love is about choice. Choosing to love everyday regardless of everything else. Loyalty is a part of their character, you just know it’s there.

Honest advice to my 25 yr old self. It’s okay to not have it all figured out. It ls okay to not be okay. It’s okay to be broke. Brute forcing something isn’t the answer. Plan to be in the game for a long time. Prioritize peace, stillness, and slow mornings.

While there are still so many women mocking men’s mental heath awareness, making DISGUSTING jokes about domestic violence against men being OK and how they wish the male suicide rate was even higher, it is amazing to see so many women speak up, fight back, and support men. Men need women, women need men, and when it comes to mental health, we ALL need each other.
