You’re making a valid point. A new Nigeria cannot be built on mere slogans. If we need real solutions, then the country must carefully assess who truly has the capacity to lead. Nigeria cannot afford leadership that could turn out worse than the problems we are already facing.

This tweet sounds more like resentment than empathy. Leadership isn’t about bitterness or forcing yourself into power. Nigerians will ask: after 8 years as Anambra governor, what are the landmark achievements? Leadership is about solutions, not rhetoric.

What an irony of history, that the acclaimed defenders of democracy and human rights who claimed to have fought for democracy during the era of General Sani Abacha now find themselves worse than the man they opposed. Today, General Sani Abacha, once presumed face of oppression, will be remembered as seemingly more democratic and more respectful of human rights than the so-called champions of activism from the NADECO days. @PeterObi There is more resentment in this tweet than empathy or sympathy for Nigerians. Leadership should be about solutions, not bitterness. If you want to lead the country, Nigerians will also ask questions: what exactly were ur major achievements during ur 8 years as Anambra governor?

It isn’t a northern culture. In Islam, you do not need a formal invitation to attend a funeral. The attending Janazah is considered a communal obligation. So it is highly encouraged for Muslims to participate whenever they are aware of it.

@daily_trust A fair analysis should consider local production capacity, refining ability, and citizens’ purchasing power, not just headline prices. Otherwise, it gives the wrong impression about the real economic pressure Nigerians are facing. @daily_trust shouldn't be giving misleading data.
