Election update: Filing for State Senate District 20 closed today at noon. I am the only Democratic candidate, no Republican candidates filed and there is a 3rd party candidate. This is welcome news for the campaign, and I am super grateful to all the folks who helped this campaign get off to such a strong start. Your support means the world to me. 🤗 But, I still have a race to win. As always, I am working hard to meet voters and discuss Lowcountry issues. If you have a neighborhood or community group meeting coming up, let me know and I’ll be there if the schedules line up. Today, we are one step closer to Building a Bridge to Better! 🌉 Thank you Downtown Charleston, West Ashley and James Island.
