The pendulum has swung back! After less than 30 days we are back to Claude Code for our default harness.

I have a new kind of big button that I can press for Codex. Over the next 100 days, we will select one person per day who does impressive or incredibly useful work with Codex and give them 10X usage limits for a month to see what they can do with it.
First one tomorrow.

@bridgebench Idk this is so weird, I’ve seen many people complaining about this and I don’t see that. I keep working normally as usual and I barely get down to 90%. Only I can think of is a skill issue. How is your setup? Do you compact, do you prompt considering token spending? Skill issue

Codex limits have been cut in half overnight and it shows.
Claude Code usage limits are now way better than Codex.
Anybody else noticing this?

Now that the Codex 2X promo has ended the usage limits on Codex are terrible. Last night I hit my 5 hour limit in 1 hour. These limits are just as bad as Claude Code limits in April. I am now officially getting more usage out of Claude Code with Opus 4.8 then Codex with GPT 5.5. So much for OpenAI being "generous".

I think you’ll really like Opus 4.8
It’s as smart as its benchmarks show but expresses and utilizes that intelligence in a warm and collaborative way.
Workflows are a great way to utilize it- I’m hooked. Article on that soon.
