Here's another San Francisco real estate office disaster as the bad news keeps coming... 🤦♂️ A 100k SF office building (55 New Montgomery St) recently sold for $15 million which equates to a shockingly low $150 per SF 🤯 This is incredible given the building last sold for $64 million, or $641 per SF, in 2018 The $15 million purchase price is a 76% discount to what it last sold for in 2018 The lender and new owner CrossHarbor is the latest lender to seize an office property in San Francisco The sale comes after the previous owner defaulted on a $71 million loan - their remaining loan balance was more than $65 million When will the destruction of value in San Francisco stop? Or is this just the beginning?
