@RuleOfThule Ahhh, that makes a lot of sense. Can't wait to read some writeups on Shattered Sky! I would say these should be turned into novels, because Drakonheim deserves to be immortalized, but I don't know if books could do it justice.

If you’re worried bro style games won’t give you cool character moments at low levels, I gave a level 1 PC a quest to tame a couple giant hyenas. I thought he was dead for sure. Dude comes back the new alpha of a pack like an anime protagonist

The contrast between "D&D" twitter and Drakonheim is surreal. In Drakonheim, everyone loves you like a brother. They take joy in the game, fight to the death with a grin, and always strive to play better. BROXT much the same.

@NotJonMollison I just mentioned today that there's a reason so much degeneracy has clung to the hobby throughout the years.. not the least of which is how attracted the morally bankrupt are to the game.

They are an arbitrary contingent set of rules we agree to for our own personal enjoyment. The game does not actually exist and so it can't be said to be in a right or wrong way.
