The killer/s of Michael Patterson captured photographs posing with his vehicle less than 24 hours after he was murdered.
They later posted those photographs to their WhatsApp statuses.
The JCF was able to retrieve these & other evidentiary materials & build a rock solid case.

i once dated someone and we got into a playful argument about why they wouldn’t share location “i’m a very private person, this feels like it’s moving too fast, that’s a big step” months later, after it didn’t work out, we were friends and i said “ok i need your location for logistics” he admitted the real reason he wouldn’t share it was because he never left the house and didn’t want anyone to see

A ban on accepting gifts that might reasonably appear to put them under an improper obligation wrt their official duties makes sense. That's very different from a complete ban on all gifts. 🤔

@Makiri2032 There is a code of conduct governing public officials, which clearly stipulates that they must not accept gifts, whether solicited or unsolicited. While no one takes issue with him enjoying himself, the concern arises from the fact that he was actively soliciting gifts.
