I don’t understand swap deals. Like we have gone up to Hull City and said “Our Goalkeeper isn’t good enough, want to swap?” Like why would they ever agree ?

The new keeper will not arrive till 4 weeks today at the earliest if he gets 3 weeks holiday after the world and we start the league 4 weeks on Friday. Not a great way to start a season.

Does anyone actually know if he’s shit or not? All I’m seeing is folk moaning about this, but I’m inclined to believe that a young GK that got a team through the championship and the playoffs might be a diamond in the rough.

@TheQuietKid18 Hull need to raise £6m in cash by tomorrow or they will have breached the English FFP rules. Hence why its pay us £6m then we will pay you £3m. So effectively we are getting him for £3m. Hull had the 4th worst defensive record in championship last season. Hence the rebuild.

Do we actually need a keeper that bad you’re swapping your no1 AND giving them £6m?? Why would a promotion winning team going into the EPL want to sell their keeper anyway? Weird. Some size the boy so looking forward to seeing what he’s all about.

Unreal how folk can become experts on players they had never heard of yesterday. A couple of google searches, YouTube videos and they are either utter dug shite or the next coming of Laudrup. There’s no in between

@dtabbit77 @RangersFC I get that. But my point is Godfrey has hardly played for the past 2 seasons. I don’t see how we think we can fix long term injury prone players who hardly contribute. We’ve hardly had success in this area of late, with Roofe, Matondo, Rossiter, Ramsay & Danilo, all costly flops!

Our recruitment is so lazy! Why do @RangersFC think we can fix players who’ve been out for years with serious injuries or players whose form has completely deserted their game? Do we never learn?!?!?
