Yesterday, Gerhard Riener from @HHU_de presented his paper "Social behavior of teachers and hidden costs of control: A Large Scale Field Experiment in Indonesia". He studies the monitoring of teachers and its unintended consequences. Thank you for the interesting discussion.

At the SFB Seminar, we had a lively discussion with @PaulSmeets5 about his paper Investor Memory where he analyses memory bias in an experiment. Depending on participants' choice between an investment in bonds or stocks, participants memorized the market outcome differently.

This week's guest at the SFB Seminar will be @PaulSmeets5 from the @MaastrichtU who will discuss his paper "Investor Memory". In an experimental framework, he analyses investors' self-serving memory bias.

On Wednesday, Paul Heidhues from @HHU_de presented his theoretical approach to analyse in-group beliefs, at our SFB Seminar. He did also show the findings of his model for biased in-group beliefs due to overconfidence, when it is applied to experimental data.
