Without decisive unapologetically strong leadership the West will not remain the preeminent civilisation. Democracy is failing to stop the decline. Having someone other than Viggo Mortensen portray Aragorn is genuinely difficult to accept. In fact, the original Aragorn in the books was quite different from the version we saw in the films yet Viggo Mortensen’s performance was so incredible that most people didn’t mind the change. Many fans even prefer the film’s Aragorn, and the biggest reason for that is, without question, Viggo Mortensen himself.
