THE CONFEDERACY OF INDIAN "UNCLES" & THEIR PROBLEM WITH THE ICONIC "DANCING GIRL OF MOHENJO-DARO". The picture of a page in an NCERT textbook of the nude iconic “Dancing Girl of Harappa” with her lady bits covered up to protect her modesty looked fake at first glance. Surely, it had to be AI-generated. Part of a well-planned digital hit job to trick the world into believing that under the so-called “Hindu nationalist” BJP, India had become a prudish redoubt. A redoubt governed by a confederacy of “uncles”. But alas, it was all too true. The photo wasn’t fake. The NCERT had indeed made the statue wear a bashful sleeve. Apparently, some genius in the NCERT scheme of things got it into their head that Grade 9 students couldn’t possibly be exposed to the gamine allure of this creation from another age. But then what exactly are fourteen- to fifteen-year-olds being shielded from? For those who may not know, the “Dancing Girl of Mohenjo-daro” is a playful, and certainly not sexual, 4,500-year-old prehistoric bronze statuette from the Indus Valley Civilization. This iconic 10.5 cm figurine showcases the highly advanced metallurgical and artistic skills of Indus Valley artisans. Instead of honouring their craft in all its glory, it’s a travesty that the rulers of India today have paid them back with a modern-day sartorial rebuke. Singed by the backlash, the NCERT will perhaps review their lurch towards prudery. The “Dancing Girl of Mohenjo-daro” represents a form that became the aesthetic standard for sculptors down the ages. The statue established an early aesthetic prototype for bronze sculpting, particularly the dynamic, poised tribhanga and hip-accentuating postures later popularised in classical and Chola dynasty bronze art. But the lesson from this ill-conceived moralising is disturbing at several levels. First, it is visual confirmation that in India there are still some who believe that the female form is a corrupting influence. It needs to be veiled, to be hidden, to prevent males from succumbing to their sexual urges. In other words, it reveals a mindset that places blame squarely at the female door for the lascivious male gaze. Will women now be asked to cover up in public next? Second, government educators of the day believe that censorship is the best way to deal with any issue. That educators are using this blunt instrument ought to worry all those who are concerned with pedagogy that spurs intellectual curiosity. Where does this censorship stop? Will the entire temple complex at Khajuraho, which celebrates sexuality, now be shrouded from the public gaze? Will books and ideas that challenge the status quo also be scrubbed clean? But beyond these concerns is a larger institutional one. Is the veiling of the “Dancing Girl of Mohenjo-daro” an admission by the Centre that it has arrogated to itself the role of the gatekeeper of morality?

Another matrimonial trap for Hindu women by Islamists A married man identified as Karim Rafik, who is the father of a 20-year-old son, posed as "Aditya Patel" on a matrimonial website. He introduced himself as an MBA graduate, IT engineer, and business owner, backing these claims with forged Aadhaar, PAN, driving licence, and even a fake death certificate of a late wife named Mittal. Police recovered more than 8,000 photos and videos of different women from his phone, stored in 20 separate folders. Police said Rafik specifically targeted widowed and divorced women who were actively looking for life partners and seeking companionship. To quickly gain their trust and build emotional intimacy, he posed as a childless widower living a lonely life. This carefully crafted narrative helped him establish emotional confidence and present himself as an ideal and sympathetic match. Using various deceptive stories, including temporary business crises and urgent personal needs, he extracted substantial amounts of money and valuable assets, including a two-wheeler, from his victims. Recently, the Kolkata Police arrested one Matiur Rahman, who allegedly posed as "Manik Roy" on matrimonial websites and trapped more than 15 Hindu women. Back to back cases of matrimonial fraud involving fake identities are now being reported from different parts of Bharat.

A new pill doubles survival time in patients — the breakthrough has left scientists stunned. Pancreatic cancer has long been one of medicine's hardest battles — most patients are diagnosed only after the disease has already spread, and treatment options have barely moved the needle in decades. That may finally be changing. Results from a major clinical trial, presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology's annual meeting in Chicago, show that a once-daily pill called daraxonrasib roughly doubled survival time for patients with advanced pancreatic cancer, with fewer side-effects than chemotherapy. The numbers tell the story: in a trial of around 500 patients whose cancer had spread, those taking the pill lived an average of 13.2 months, compared with roughly 6.6 months on standard chemo. Oncologists who weren't involved in the study have called the results unprecedented, with one veteran specialist admitting she cried in clinic when she read them. ASCO's chief medical officer went further, saying it wasn't just a home run but "a grand slam." So how does it work? Daraxonrasib targets Kras, a protein that drives the vast majority of pancreatic cancers by telling cells to keep growing and dividing when they shouldn't. The drug essentially grabs and switches off this overactive protein — and crucially, it does so regardless of which Kras mutation a patient has. Researchers say this new class of "Ras(On)" inhibitors could open the door to a wider treatment revolution for a cancer that has resisted progress for far too long. source: A. Gregory. The Guardian (2026). “Daily pill can double survival time for world’s deadliest cancer, trial shows.”

🚨#Khalistani Gun Brandishing: From Air India Massacre to Canadian Streets Khalistani extremists have hijacked parts of Canada as a t@rror sanctuary. They fuse deadly gun culture with toxic separatist hate, flooding social media to radicalize youth & glorify killers like Hardeep Singh #Nijjar brandishing Aks. Canada already paid in blood: the 1985 Air India bombing slaughtered 329 innocents. Yet the nightmare continues—temple attacks, shootings, child suicide-vest parades, assassination floats, extortion, & smuggling. This imported blood feud is poisoning Surrey, Brampton, & Toronto. Enough! Canada 🇨🇦 must crush this radical fringe, deport foreign agitators, enforce real laws, & protect its citizens before more blood flows. 📽️: @WaliRuchi #cdnpoli

Her name is Ummul Kher. She was born with a condition called brittle bone disease. Through her childhood, her bones broke again and again. The smallest fall was enough to cause a fracture. By the time she reached adulthood, she had suffered sixteen fractures and undergone eight surgeries. Her family had moved to Delhi from Rajasthan when she was around five years old. Her father sold clothes as a street vendor near the Nizamuddin shrine, and the family lived in a nearby slum. Then the slum was demolished to make way for a flyover. The family decided to return to Rajasthan. Ummul, then around fourteen, refused to go. She wanted to continue her education. Her parents believed a disabled girl had studied enough and should not spend her life chasing books. They left. She stayed behind in Delhi alone. A fourteen-year-old girl with bones that broke at a touch, no family around her and almost no money decided she would educate herself anyway. She rented a tiny room and survived by tutoring children from nearby slums. She earned a little from the families who could afford to pay and continued studying with whatever resources she could find. She scored ninety-one percent in Class 12. She earned admission to Gargi College at Delhi University. From there, she went on to complete a master’s degree, an M.Phil and a Ph.D at Jawaharlal Nehru University. Along the way, she was awarded a national research fellowship. In 2016, she appeared for the Civil Services Examination, one of the most competitive examinations in the country. She cleared it on her first attempt. She became an officer of the Indian Administrative Service. Her parents left her behind at fourteen because they believed a girl with broken bones had no future worth investing in. She built one of the hardest futures this country has to offer, entirely on her own. Follow for stories India deserves to remember.

The Frozen Tomb of Svalbard: A 130-Year-Old Arctic Mystery Solved In the winter of 1872, 17 Norwegian sealers sought refuge inside svenskehuset (the Swedish house), a large wooden house on the desolate shores of Isfjorden (the Ice fjord), Svalbard. Eight months later, Captain Ole Barth Tellefsen broke through the barricaded front door. Inside, he encountered a chilling, frozen silence. Men lay dead in their beds, fully dressed. Others were scattered across the floor. One man sat upright on a wooden crate. There were no signs of a struggle, and the pantry was fully stocked with food. Scurvy was immediately ruled out because the men had ample provisions, including canned food and fresh meat. With no clear medical explanation, contemporary officials blamed the victims. The official report concluded they died from "laziness and ignorance." The case was closed, but the haunting imagery of the preserved cabin lingered for over a century. In 2006, historian Kjell G. Kjær and physician Ulf Aasebø reopened the cold case. After six years of rigorous investigation and exhumations, they uncovered the real killer. The men did not die from a lack of will, but from the very food meant to save them. The lead solder used to seal their tin cans had slowly, silently poisoned them all. Nineteenth-century tin cans were handmade and sealed using crude solder. This solder contained high amounts of lead, and workers often applied it from the inside of the can. Large droplets of lead regularly dripped directly into the food during manufacturing. When food was stored for months, acids in the meat, vegetables, and fruit reacted chemically with the lead seams. This acid slowly dissolved the toxic metal, causing it to leach straight into the food supply. The longer the food sat on the shelf, the more toxic it became. The human body cannot easily expel lead, causing it to accumulate in organs and tissues over time. Eating canned food daily for an entire winter meant the trappers quickly reached lethal toxicity. The heavy metal attacked their central nervous systems, destroyed red blood cells, and caused organ failure. 📷 : the Swedish house still stands at Kapp Thordsen. A cross has been erected at the mass grave in memory of the dead. (📷© Prillen) © Reddit #drthehistories

🚨🇨🇦 Has Canada’s name quietly been changed to Khalistan? Khalistan doesn’t exist on any map. Yet Khalistani flags are everywhere in Canada, while Khalistanis openly display assault rifles & handguns, chilling in front of a giant Khalistan flag. If these people are from another country, where exactly? And why is the Canadian government allowing public displays of separatist extremism and firearms that would land any regular Canadian in serious trouble?
Allen Hampton@Hamp_Allen

🚨 This video is a damning exposé of how Khalistani extremists have hijacked most Sikh Gurdwaras in Canada, the US, UK & beyond. They openly display photos of armed militants and terrorist Talwinder Singh Parmar, the Babbar Khalsa leader & mastermind behind the 1985 Air India Flight 182 bombing that killed 329 Canadians. Politicians visit these sites and governments hand out taxpayer grants while extremists glorify terror. Time to defund & expose these hijacked institutions.
