Sad day today in the Patient Flow Team @YSTeachingNHS as Richard retires after 35 years service. Richard started off his career at the City Hospital when Egg Whites were used as dressings 🤣, we wish Richard all the best and thank you for all your hardwork xx

Our Emergency Department (ED) at York Hospital is extremely busy, if you do not need urgent medical attention our ED might not be the best place for you to get the treatment you need and you may wait a long time. Call NHS 111, or visit 111.nhs.uk for advice.
