no hate but hsr is the kinda best place for newbies and i dont know why people urge you to move to indiranagar.
all whos telling you to move to indiranagar maybe haven't explored hsr that much or something missing.
peaceful vibe with way less party culture, solid cafes everywhere, and tons of founders just vibing. proper food street on hsr and tons of good places. its cheap to actually live here unlike indiranagar where you're basically just paying premium for i don't know.
and it's 35 min tops if you want to go to indiranagar
and yeah i fully agree by the time i'm done with the city, I'm either going home or straight out of India. nothing in btw.
stay where the real peace is.

the HSR trap: lot of people who move to BLR often land in HSR first. it's extremely important to not settle here & start identifying as someone from BLR, not your hometown. this hopefully motivates you to keep going up the ladder and eventually move to indiranagar. by the time you're done with indiranagar, you should be frustrated enough with the city to either go back to your hometown, or move on to SF/dubai/singapore, or try mumbai/hyd/delhi. if BLR is your true calling, then you should ideally change your domicile to KA and then settle down in JP nagar or sadashivanagar and live that post-economic life.

It took me an entire night to generate this scene. Prompt over prompt… again and again… until the vision in my mind became real. this isn’t above 2 mins ai slop. Not about 4000cr VFX. This is about obsession, effort that doesn’t compromise for little is Some thing they lack.

Just started my career.
Got my 3rd salary today.
I should feel proud.. but sometimes it feels like
I chose the wrong path or maybe I just don’t know what’s happening.
Big companies are laying off thousands.
Those people will might look for jobs in mid-size companies.
But what about the ones already in mid size companies or start-up?
Where do they go if they get laid off?
Even while studying or working,
this thought keeps coming back
"Will this even be helpful in the future?"
Because I see what’s coming
- AI is getting better
- Layoffs are increasing
- Competition is getting tougher
- And with more competition comes more pressure.
- Continuous upgrading.
- No pause.
- Work beyond office hours.. or risk being left behind.
- Pressure for that too.
And then I think ..what if I want to switch someday?
Now my competitors will be from Google, Oracle, Microsoft.
Why would anyone choose me
unless I do something extraordinary?
So now there’s pressure for doing something extraordinary.

Use your internships for learning, it will help you a lot in getting better jobs once you leave college

I got into a startup and was paid very less during my internship, my friends on the other hand joined MNCs and were paid triple my stipend.
But while I solved real problems and wrote extensive code, my friends were had minimal work.
