Until there’s a PvE mode, or major revamps to the current system, none of this will matter much.
New maps and content expansion won’t bring back the blocs who’ve simply been shot in the back- by random and unfindable “PvPrs”- one too many times.
The story, and rewards for completing it, just isn’t interesting enough to justify the risk of constantly losing good PvE gear to someone with trash just because you didn’t shoot at them first, and your swap speed is ridiculously slow.
The game is designed, in every way, to make fools out of its PvErs.
Arc Raiders developers have revealed plans to expand the game significantly in 2026, confirming that multiple new maps are currently in development.
According to the team, these won’t just be standard additions — some upcoming locations are expected to be larger and more ambitious than anything currently available in the game.
The new maps aim to introduce greater variety in gameplay, with different environments, challenges, and mechanics designed to change how players approach combat and exploration.
Developers also hinted that each map could bring unique elements such as new enemy types, loot opportunities, and strategic playstyles, making every location feel distinct.
While full details are still under wraps, the roadmap suggests that Arc Raiders is set for a major content expansion throughout 2026.

@Ninja Wanna do a photoshoot in game sometime? Fun fact I played beer pong against you with Walshy on my team at AGL Nashville a loooong time ago and you and Jess dog walked us lmao
@JakeSucky Once again, it's not cheaters, it's just him playing a game where there's no God mode and people can be better than him.
Needs to play the game and stop bitching all the time.
"Just gunna die to cheaters and stream snipers, nothings changed... this game's unplayable"
Ninja has quit ARC Raiders and streaming once again due to cheaters, lasting just 3 hours upon his return
#ad I got early access to the new ARC Raiders Riven Tides map and did a photoshoot with the devs! The map is so sick, and this is easily one of the coolest opportunities I’ve ever had. #arcraiders#riventides@ARCRaidersGame
@ARCRaidersGame Your game is literally dying because you are catering to PVE players. Your idea was to require absolute egregious amounts of PVE in order to get skill points. Doesn’t make any sense.
Why are you killing your own game? @EmbarkStudios
📡 Attention, Raiders!
One of the founding principles of the Expedition Project is respecting your time. We hear your voice, and have made updates to the Skill Point requirements.
The Expedition Window has been extended, you’ll have from 28 April to 11 May for all players to have a fair shot at filling the ARC with lead.
Like with anything that requires balancing, the Expedition Project is an evolving progress, and we’ll continue to react to the way you play to improve your adventures in the Rust Belt. Keep the feedback rolling in, and stock up on ammo for a grand firefight

What the Artemis II astronauts did over the last 10 days was a testament to their bravery. And the fact that they traveled farther from Earth than anyone ever has, re-entered our atmosphere at more than 24,000 mph, and splashed down safely was a testament to human ingenuity. Thanks to everyone at @NASA for making this mission possible, and for taking us along for the ride.
I will however stop communicating on my X account if the negativity continues.
I believe most of you will understand that why should we deal with negative comments or badgering of any kind in life if we can just turn it off.
Especially when our own lives can be hard enough sometimes.
Wouldn't you all agree?
So let's keep the fun rolling and in a positive way shall we.
