strongly considering making all my posts "friends of friends replies only" for a while. i follow 2.5k people and they collectively follow an assload more, so its really not too strong a filter, but it'd keep out bots and random groypers. downside is it blocks brand new lowbies...

1/ Chrome quietly shipped a feature that lets AI agents use a browser you're already logged into. Before this, getting an agent to operate a website meant dealing with APIs, login flows, and auth. Once anti-bot protections showed up, things usually broke. When I first tried browser-use for automation, login alone could take forever. Now? Gmail, X, Notion, internal tools — the agent reuses the session you already have open. No re-login. No API. No CAPTCHA workaround. I got the full workflow working end to end. Sharing it here 🧵👇

Honestly a Consumer Reports style panel of power users might be better than METR etc. for measuring AI progress, much more robust to spikiness. Not meant to sound skeptical, as a power user I think there's been extremely noticeable progress over the past few months fwiw.
