@thbrdy @signulll It wasn’t a personal attack or any comment on your agency. Just that it’s the wrong target. There are plenty of others. I have a feeling qui tam cases are going to be huge in the next few years (even though they take extra long to pay out). Law is still a business

@markankcorn @signulll You know, I have this weird track record of people telling me I can't do something because I'm an outsider, don't have the capital, don't know what I'm doing, etc. and then just smoking bitches. I'm not saying you are wrong, but my odds are much better than you appreciate.

@thbrdy @signulll No you would not. Notoriously difficult cases to win and almost by definition extremely well-funded defendants who will litigate until the heat death of the universe. Pick a different and more lucrative area

@signulll I offered this to my attorney for trade or even pro bono since she is a solo practitioner and she kind of blew me off. I wish I had a law degree. I would go into anti-trust and then smoke some bitches.

The Chrome remote debugger skill is ridiculously handy: connect to a local Chrome session over CDP, list tabs instantly, inspect accessibility trees, run JS, click/type, and take screenshots—no Puppeteer. Great for agents doing real browser workflows.

@dbopfbeep @rparloff @OrinKerr Did you read the part where the prosecutors screwed up and gave the scumbag kiddie porn sicko one third of the guidelines because they hadn’t finished reviewing all the vile and disgusting pictures when they let him plead out? I’m glad the judge is pissed

Interesting that he slips the original motto of the Mossad “בתחבולות נעשה מלחמה” in while not once mentioning the intelligence services. Also a change in the verse from Proverbs, dropping לך from the middle “with deceptions you shall wage war” → “with deceptions we are waging war”

Y’all know I have my disagreements with Bibi. Budget priorities, haredi welfare spending, import reforms, judicial reform, information war, avoidance of accountability, Gaza war - okay, a lot of disagreements, including on big, critical things that affect our lives and the lives of our neighbors. But the man has been planning the ayatollahs’ fall for two decades. He believes it’s why God (inasmuch as he believes in God) put him on this Earth. And damned if he isn’t seeing through this thing he has always believed was his destiny. I’ll keep criticizing the bad stuff. I’m a citizen. He works for me. That’s how the system is supposed to work. And I’ll keep praising and being grateful for this one great big huge thing. I don’t know if he’ll succeed. I can’t think of anyone else who would have been so grimly single-minded and so specifically competent in the specific skillset required to bring us to this point. Succeed in this one big thing, Bibi, and you will have earned your place in the annals of this people. And then get serious about the import reforms. We’re dying here.

I share your frustration and desire to build in the Bat Area. But concretely, a few obstacles: 1. Would’ve required some way to pre-empt local land use and environmental laws, and federal ones. Not sure there’s enough federal-owned land where it would be useful. 2. More practically, it would create jobs in deep blue places that didn’t vote for Trump and haven’t sent a Repub to DC in a decade or more. Where’s the upside for Trump? For the GOP Congress? 3. Benefits would flow disproportionately to stakeholders DJT doesn’t much care about. Elon’s in Texas now, Thiel is in Miami; Trump likes Jensen and Tim Cook but isn’t out to do them any favors 4. Labor laws are Byzantine here and getting worse, very strong unions, could get the building trades on board but what about the rest? In the end I think it’ll be easier to convince the engineers to move to Austin and Chandler than to try to build actual manufacturing in California. Sadly. Maybe Long Beach and El Segundo will lead the way?

crazy that given AI capex, building in the physical world is so illegal that we opted for tariff exemptions over bringing scaled server, power supply, chip packaging, fab, etc production back to “silicon valley”. could have reindustrialized the bay area off of this *alone*

I like kicking off a big project on Codex app but it can take hours. I have a skill that says when one phase is done, the model should check it off, add any notes or suggestions to a best practices file, commit to GitHub, and write the prompt for the next phase. I then copy that prompt to a new chat and start the next chunk. Would be great to do that from my phone, and to monitor for any permissions.

Some interesting data we pulled today showed that ~40% of Codex users use multiple surfaces, between the App, CLI, and IDE extensions. Everyone seems to have a primary preference, but a bigger-than-expected chunk of users launch codex agents outside of their primary interface. If you use multiple surfaces, I'm curious why? And what could we do to improve the experience?

this evening my wife and i just sat down and vibe coded a book inventory management app to take pictures our bookshelves, ID all books & dewey decimal org, plan how to sort topic areas across shelves then added a feature to mail-merge the data into a printed card catalog

im fully convinced that LLMs are not an actual net productivity boost (today) they remove the barrier to get started, but they create increasingly complex software which does not appear to be maintainable so far, in my situations, they appear to slow down long term velocity

@Robertg761_ @thsottiaux I just do that in Chat 5.4 Pro and after we’re settled on the ideas, have it write me a detailed spec as a markdown file. Then put that in the project root and fire up Codex and say Have at it bro

@thsottiaux I would like to see a different style of plan mode where you can chat with the agent about the project to form ideas and discuss plans and then convert that into the regular plan mode.

@liron Even if this was true (it’s not), the IDF has killed ~5% of the civilian population of Gaza in just 2.5 years and displaced 90% of the population. Evil any way you slice it.

Many people who read my tweets still haven’t managed to learn the basic fact that the IDF has never targeted Palestinian civilians, and the number who died as collateral damage is the smallest figure imaginable, leaving no doubt that there must have been heroic measures taken.

Given the city can’t decide whether or not to build housing, because they treat radiation like it’s long covid or something — we should just reactivate the shipyard. Put advanced manufacturing next to the best engineers in the world.
Mission Local@MLNow

You’d be exposed to more radiation on a flight from S.F. to NYC than at the Hunters Point Shipyard, the Navy said during a hearing before city officials Monday. Still, residents are wary. via @NewmanMari46015 missionlocal.org/2025/12/sf-nav…
