Thanjavur maintaining the British era sheds, buildings and the bench even ( SIR ) makes it kind of a heritage station. Despite the PF being raised for BG ops, making the sheds tad bit smaller, yet props for maintaining them pristine.

@Ananya251206 yeah, and it was made one for girls just from 2025 july, I used to sneak in even during mar/apr 2025 , there is another hostel meant for the first years inside it. rest all are for boys, now it is complete girls territory
