@JMaine518 I have conflicted feelings about that because I beat Tyr because the game awarded me an upgrade that gives random elemental debuffs on spear handle detonation. Kinda hard not to beat Tyr when I have a wand of 'you catch all diseases instantly.'

The Valhalla DLC made me put respect on the Draupnir Spear 🫡

@Svenishness @omgsidewalks I am happy to report that my father, boomer though he is, is fiercely against this stereotype. There were three trees in our yard when we moved in back in 89, and he's planted four more since. The city has ordered my dad to trim back one of the trees because it hangs over the 1/2

SERIOUS QUESTION: Does anyone else get sad and confused when trees get chopped down in residential areas that literally aren’t even bothering anyone ??

@wearecyberpunks I want to agree with you but that's every game now. I can't remember the last game I played where I didn't have to consult an online guide at least once. Games are designed for kids that grew up with the Internet now and it shows.

Ich habe gestern Abend 3h damit verbracht, #Destiny2 nochmal eine Chance zu geben. Habe neu angefangen, und spätestens wenn du die Tutorial-Quest „Neues Licht“ abgeschlossen hast, stehst du vor einem Wust an Quests, Erweiterungen, Story-Schnipseln und einem Menü aus der Hölle. Von der Thematik her, müsste ich eigentlich Fan von der Marke sein. Aber der Aufbau macht echt alles kaputt. Und die dümmste Entscheidung, die je ein Entwickler je treffen konnte ist, die Hauptkampagne aus dem Spiel zu entfernen. Wie kommt man so auf einen Schwachsinn? Ich hatte damals auch Forsaken gekauft. Die Einstiegsmission ist echt cool. Leider nicht mehr komplett verfügbar. Dieser Zeitstrahl um die Geschichte nachzulesen, ersetzt die Hauptkampagne leider in keinster Weise. Selten so ein einsteigerunfreundliches Spiel gesehen, obwohl es sooooo viel Potenzial hat bzw. hatte. Wenn Spieler YT Tutorials brauchen, oder im Netz nachschlagen müssen, wie man dein Spiel richtig spielt, machst du als Entwickler was gravierendes falsch.

Absolutely massive QOL they (or I?) missed in patch notes and previews: every exotic mission now has a Classic Collector modifier that will guarantee 2 red border weapon drops from that season every run. So everyone can complete their craftable collections with no FOMO!

@mossy_max Slight clarification.. No Classic Collector from Derealize, Heliostat, Zero Hour, or Whisper missions since they were not tied directly to releases with craftable weapons!

surprisingly good rule for pleasant relations is "don't pay full price for things you did not fully choose" take ie a parent pressuring you into taking a trip - you can just tell them e.g. "sure, i'm willing to go if you cover the air fare" or even farther

Many instances of level design, paths and layouts have been updated/altered from the original. This is awesome, reminds me of differences from RE1 to REmake. If you've ran AC4'13 a lot, you know how exploitable many missions are, especially if you ignore Full Syncs.
