@shadwdivinity Thats not my point! Denial and questioning is a totally ok part of coming to terms with your sexuality. It’s not ok to claim to be straight for the entirety of the series. Such as melting point where the author stated that the mc is “100% straight”

I will say it.
Queer characters should be allowed to be flawed, to be messy, to majorly screw up.
Like any other character in fiction that happens to be straight or CIS.
And it's not faulty writing: it's about depicting people with nuance, whether they're LGBTQ+ or not.
