I’m grateful every day for this job, but particularly today where my official duties have brought me to Rome on Good Friday. I had a great meeting with Prime Minister Meloni and her team, and will head to church soon with my family in this beautiful city. I wish all Christians all over the world, but particularly those back home in the US, a blessed Good Friday. He died so that we might live.

On the IRS.gov website, the "log in" button was not in the top right on the navbar like it is on most websites. It was weirdly placed in the middle of the page below the fold. An IRS engineer explained that the *soonest* this change could get deployed is July 21st... 103 days from now. This engineer worked with the DOGE team to delete the red tape and accomplished the task in 71 minutes. See before/after pictures below. There are great people at the IRS, who are simply being strangled by bureaucracy.

Ozempic, Mounjaro and any other GLP-1’s are temporary BANDAIDS. They DO NOT correct the actual problem. The long-term risk profile of this class is VERY concerning, especially swallowing issues and muscle mass loss. In my opinion should be limited to 12 months of use. If you are obese or morbidly obese then yes they are a great START but they are not the long-term answer. Fix your diet. Optimize your exercise. Correct the mindset, to stop thinking that X medication is the answer. Health is wealth!

I literally just placed my first order of trizepitide today. I’m going to use it for a month to get the ball rolling in weight loss but the biggest benefit for me I believe will be the reduced cravings in all areas, especially alcohol, which I’ve been trying to curb for a long time.
