The more Autistic people I meet, the more I notice something: The ones who spend their lives trying to seem normal are usually exhausted. The ones who let themselves be autistic are usually a lot happier. Masking can be necessary. But when it's safe, stop performing and start listening to yourself.

Elon Musk: ”I think there are great things in every culture. We don’t want the German culture to disappear. We don’t want French culture to disappear. We don’t want Korean culture to disappear, or Japan, or America, or anywhere. I think we should be very cautious about having some sort of global mixing pot, because every place will be the same, and there won’t be any unique cultures in the world. Which I think would make the world worse. So I think we need to preserve these country cultures, and that’s the future that I think is better. I think that most people would agree is better. We shouldn’t have cultures disappear. And currently, based on the current birth rates and the sort of so-called multiculturalism and globalism, what we’re actually seeing is the dilution of individual cultures and the destruction and death of individual cultures, which I think is terrible for the future.”

@latentfidelity Yeah, maybe if we can live away from the predation of Neurotypicals. Or maybe if we can afford to have one stealth anti-personnel robot with us. Or three. I think I'd like 3, point man, bodyguard, backup.

My favorite rabbit hole is the women in pure psychosis about Elon Musk. They truly believe they will be with him, and it’s not just admiration/appreciation it’s like “I’m gonna be his next wife, I’m so in love with him” Like a woman has his heart already. lol 😂 But at least they don’t hate him! 🤷‍♀️ It’s genuinely entertaining

@rozXsees Dude seriously don't stress about it. If you're in the mood for it, aren't anxious, just even try some paid service that provides free samples. Or don't. Not something you put on your CV anyway. I don't do emotional reassurance, you can probably tell 😸

@realRick_AUS Certain other ethnic groups that they won't touch either: white racism is recognised as existing, but black racism is not. If you are being bullied or stalked by black people they will not believe you.

Inverted morality works by normalizing the immoral and the insane until refusing it looks extreme. Once institutions treat men as women, children as sexual beings, and repeat criminals as victims deserving leniency, anyone still anchored to biological and social reality becomes the outlier. But the truth is you are not extreme. They are.

Probably why he says don't use introspection. It's hard with trauma, because it's nature forces you to try to reprocess things, but as soon as you possibly can, try to put it in the past, focus on the present, and the future. I wish BOTH of my parents had been Better. But rarely think of them now.

Elon Musk broke down in an interview and said "I wish my dad was a better person." What his father did while Elon was building SpaceX is something most sons would never recover from. While Elon was pouring everything into making humanity multiplanetary, his father was talking behind his back. Selling family secrets. Contradicting Elon publicly. Claiming credit for his success. Then the incest story about Jana broke. His stepdaughter. The children. The revelations that made global headlines. Elon addressed it once. Barely. He said his father was a terrible man who had done terrible things. He said he tried to give his father the benefit of the doubt for years and was proven wrong every time. Then in one interview the composure cracked. He said quietly that he wished his father had been better. Not angrily. Sadly. The way someone speaks about a wound that never fully closed. He built SpaceX to reach Mars. He built Tesla to fix energy. He built Neuralink to fix the brain. But he can't fix the one relationship that shaped him before any of those companies existed. The man who solves impossible engineering problems cannot solve the simplest human one. How to have a father who loves you without destroying you. Some problems don't have engineering solutions. Some wounds just stay open. And sometimes the man building the future is still bleeding from the past.

If I were as rich as Elon Musk, I’d invest less in rockets and more in helping people understand science. Because the biggest barrier to progress isn’t technology. It’s understanding.
