Because if you can't do that, no matter how much money you make from doing their marketing, it's never going make you feel fulfilled. Research like a madman, experiment with all kinds of strategies, but SORT YOUR GODDAMN DISTRIBUTION.

Travis Kalanick just came out of stealth after 8 years. Quick context: he co-founded Uber, built it into a company that redefined how cities move, and got forced out in 2017 amid one of the most public CEO ousters in tech history. But here’s what most people missed: he never stopped building. For 8 years he's been running City Storage Systems with thousands of employees who weren't even allowed to list the company on LinkedIn. And they raised over $1B. On Friday, he renamed the whole thing Atoms and revealed what he's actually been building: industrial robotics for food, mining, and transport. The thesis is deliberately anti-humanoid. While everyone else races to build robots that look like us, Kalanick is betting on "gainfully employed robots." Specialized machines for specific industrial tasks. Here's what makes this interesting: - He's building a "wheelbase for robots." Standardized chassis with power, compute, and sensors that can be configured for different applications. This is the same logic automakers use when building multiple vehicles off one platform. - He's acquiring Pronto, the AV startup founded by Anthony Levandowski (his former Uber colleague). - 8 years of stealth means 8 years of compounding without the distraction of public attention. That's rare Say what you want about his past, but this is someone who knows how to build companies that move fast and get very large. The next few years in physical AI just got more interesting.
