@Dunnylad1 So now it's actors who've no business opining about politics? Not long ago it was football pundits getting criticised. When will "ordinary" people realise that EVERYONE is affected by politics and therefore EVERYONE is entitled to an opinion.

The actor, Eddie Marsden appearing on the BBC. Talking about too much 'trickle down economics' and that we need a much greater redistribution of wealth. Does acting school dedicate a semester studying economics, globalisation or monetary policy? Why do we need an actor's input?

Why does the BBC always think it appropriate to invite a left-leaning actor ( in this case Eddie Marsan) onto a current affairs show to spout ritual criticism of Trump & plug Labour & Starmer? I couldn’t give a rats arse for Marsan’s views on anything. Stick to acting.

@UK_Needs_Reform For the hard of thinking there isn't any oil left in the North Sea and even if there were it wouldn't change the global oil price which dictates our petrol prices. Renewables are much cheaper and more secure. Sorry gammons.

Not just for energy but for hydraulics, lubrication, chemical feedstock, plastics, fertilisers, pharmaceuticals, and then there's the military. All military vehicles, tanks, aircraft, ships are fossil fueled.

@UK_Needs_Reform It would be utterly pointless 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ What we need to do is go fully renewable and stop relying on oil.
