Not sure of the date, but I'm close. The Stonestown Apartments seem about done but the shopping center hasn't been started. No Lowell (1962) or Lakeshore Elementary (1953) but really it's about the curve around the arm of Lake Merced. #sfhistory

Reminds me of research that shows that entrepreneurs are not necessarily less risk-adverse than others. Instead, they *believe their own stories* so much that they don't think they're risky. Even if those stories are somewhere between exaggerations and pure fantasy

Great post on a topic I've thought a lot about, too. The reality is that founders are often lying to *themselves* before they extend that to others. Does that make it more okay?
