Hmm…not convinced by this, tends to undermine the Olympic ethos. I realise some countries reward medal winners but I don’t think sports should.

There will rightly be time to celebrate rowing’s new discipline: beach sprint being included in the LA 2028 Games but for now I feel a pang to say goodbye to lightweight rowing and all that will entail

Apparently we are amazing in women's 2-person events, podiums for LW2-, W2-, LW2x. 🤣

Waiting for MY heart rate to get back to normal after that sprint from Wagner/Vitas in the W2X.

Semis aren't finals, but still odd seeing CRO not crossing the line first in the M2X.

Yeah, let's get rid of the event where the quarterfinals are more exciting than most finals. How about we drop the M4- instead, where the same 2 countries have won Olympic Gold for the past 30 years, and have both been on the podium at 5 out of the last 8 Games? <rant over/>
