@PrakharS96 @Shopify Im trying to think what is the purpose of showing FREE at the top? Maybe some kind of “free box” promo and then the items within it are paid. But for a bundle it feels like the total should be there with the breakdown of nested items below.

@startupsmith @Shopify Completely agree with that. No workaround as of now. What do you think would be a good solution here?

1/5 @Shopify just dropped nested cart lines and it changes everything for bundles 🧵 We built support for BOTH the new nested approach AND Cart Transform API. Here's what each looks like and why it matters for your conversion rates 👇

Tomorrow I am launching the Shopify App Growth Blueprint 🔥 It's for all Shopify App Developers and Founders who want to skyrocket their growth. This is the Blueprint I wished I had when I started back in 2017. I always said "I want to be the guy I wanted to meet when I started" I guess this is what I actually wanted If you want to be notified first, comment below and I'll send you the link tomorrow!

Everyone knows to avoid “tar pit” startups. Ideas that seem easy and attractive on the surface but turn out to be hard to execute or scale to a meaningful market size. Here’s another type to avoid as an indiehacker: “arms race” startups. Where you don’t control the pace of change, and you continually have to update your app to stay relevant or worse, keep it actually functioning. Any kind of scraping app, or agent app that needs access to the open web falls under this category. As does any app that leverages AI as its main value prop. You won’t ever have time for marketing if all your time is taken up with patching workarounds, or updating and testing with the latest models which may or may not have critical breaking changes for your users. Don’t get sucked into an arms race!

One of the best parts about @TaskmasterAI is that is lets me easily pick back up on a project if I haven't touched it in a few days. I literally just say "Start next task" and it knows exactly what to do.

@hustlin_heev Interesting... Are you using MailerLite as an alternative to Instantly?

Entrepreneurship is all about mindset. I’ve been stressing about plateauing at 5K MRR. “Nothing works, wtf am I doing wrong?” But this is the wrong way to look at it. Instead: whats working? I used a product led growth tactic to find 1200 brands in 1 month, and not only that, my AI workflow found 1167 contacts at those brands! Actual people who work in influencer marketing at those brands. I only sent 150 emails to them, but guess what, I can improve that. What else? I'm consistently getting replies with my new approach! Just need to firm up the offer. I just implemented Findymail to find more emails and a more robust emailer sender: MailerLite. I’m getting closer and closer down the funnel to perfecting my offer and closing brands thru cold email. Its all about taking steps forward! If this shit was easy, everyone would do it!

@zmbnski @SkinnyWaterApps There’s probably some lessons in terms of what you track ie. Only sessions vs views / impressions

@zmbnski @SkinnyWaterApps I have done this in the past and it can be tough if your pricepoint doesn’t support large stores with huge traffic. Our app was used by some of the top 10 shopify stores (by traffic) and our pricing just didnt support the volume of data we had to process from the analytics!

@itsHujjat I also love the idea of exposing the browser console to cursor via MCP but so far I haven't been successful setting it up!

@itsHujjat I dunno if they really live up to the hype in all cases... But I previously wrote Shopify gql queries using cursor without the MCP and they definitely had issues. So far with the MCP it hasn't failed so seems like a good use!

@hustlin_heev @heydemoground Yes, it also generates a mock screenshot that shows a screenshot of their store with your app. This can help as it's more visual... It's a softer sell to try a demo rather than install the app...

Couldn't crack cold email I sent maybe 12K in total. I had 1 good conversation and no paying customers I think the reason is because no one wants to be sold right away. Thats why you see people talking about funneling into a newsletter or educational content, not going right to selling. I think the best approach is to ask a question, like: "Hey, do you run creator collaborations for [brand] ?"
