🚨Michael Burry just said Elon Musk and Nvidia's deal is built on fake numbers. Burry published a detailed breakdown calling the entire structure "Fugazi", his word for fake. He is alleging that billions of dollars in Nvidia chips are being hidden off balance sheets, and that American retirees are unknowingly funding the whole thing. Nvidia, the world's largest AI chip company sold $5.4 billion worth of its most advanced GPUs, the GB200, to a company called Valor. Valor is not a real operating business. It is a special purpose vehicle, a shell company created specifically to hold these chips and nothing else. Nvidia also invested $1.9 billion of its own money directly into Valor on top of the sale. Those 100,000+ chips are now physically inside xAI's data center. xAI is Elon Musk's artificial intelligence company, the one that builds Grok. xAI is using every single one of those chips right now to run its AI models. But here is what Burry is flagging. Neither Nvidia nor xAI owns those chips on paper. Valor, the shell company holds legal title. That means $5.4 billion in GPU assets do not show up on Nvidia's balance sheet as inventory. They do not show up on xAI's balance sheet as assets. They are legally invisible to both companies. Nvidia gets to book the $5.4 billion as a completed sale and record it as revenue. xAI gets full use of the chips without owning them. And the risk disappears into a shell company in the middle. Now here is where American retirees enter the picture. Valor needed $3.5 billion in debt to fund this structure. Apollo provided it. Apollo is one of the largest asset managers on earth with $1.03 trillion under management and $834 billion specifically in private credit. Apollo raised the $3.5 billion, packaged it into debt securities, and sold those securities to Athene. Athene is Apollo's own insurance company. It sells fixed and indexed annuities, retirement savings products, to ordinary Americans. When a retiree buys an Athene annuity, they believe their money is sitting in safe, stable investments. That money is now inside a structure funding Elon Musk's AI data center. The numbers inside Athene are most alarming. Athene holds $74.2 billion in reserves. It has moved $217 billion in assets into a captive insurer based in Bermuda, meaning those assets sit outside normal US insurance regulation and oversight. Of the entire portfolio, 34.7%, equal to $103 billion, is classified as Level 3 assets. Level 3 is an accounting classification that means there is no observable market price for these assets. No outside party can independently verify what they are actually worth. The leverage sitting on top of those unpriced assets is 16 times. Burry's says: Every step of this structure is technically legal and publicly disclosed. But the entire thing was deliberately engineered across 8 to 12 steps to move credit risk off balance sheets and away from any market pricing. - Nvidia books the revenue. - Apollo collects the fees. - xAI gets the computing power. - And retirees sitting at the bottom of a 16x leveraged Bermuda insurance structure, holding $103 billion in assets with no market price carry the risk without knowing it exists.

The Mysteries Given to Paul: Why the Church Must Recover the Revelation Christ Gave Through His Apostle Robert Breaker recently gave a helpful reminder that much of modern Christianity is doctrinally confused because it neglects the revelation Christ gave to Paul. That is not an attack on the words of Jesus. It is obedience to the risen Christ who chose Paul as the apostle to the Gentiles. Brother Robert Breaker did a service by putting this subject back on the table. This essay is not written to pick apart his message, but to build upon the same burden: that Bible believers must recover the mysteries committed to Paul and stop treating them like optional side doctrines. A man does not have to agree with every outline, every label, every arrangement, or every homiletical heading in order to recognize the truth of the main point. The main point is this: the Lord Jesus Christ gave the Apostle Paul specific revelation for the Church Age, and when that revelation is ignored, blurred, denied, or stolen from Paul and thrown backward into Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John without distinction, doctrinal confusion follows like night follows sunset. Paul was not a religious philosopher sitting in a cave inventing doctrines because he wanted his own denomination. Paul was not a frustrated Pharisee trying to outdo Peter. Paul was not a man who came along and “changed Christianity,” as the liberals and Judaizers like to pretend. Paul was a chosen vessel, arrested by the risen Christ on the road to Damascus, taught by revelation, and sent to preach among the Gentiles “the unsearchable riches of Christ.” Galatians 1:11-12 says, “But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.” That one passage ought to shut the mouth of every red-letter idolater who claims to follow Jesus while rejecting the doctrine Jesus revealed from heaven through Paul. You are not more loyal to Jesus by ignoring Paul. You are disobedient to Jesus when you ignore the apostle Jesus sent. That is why this subject is not a secondary curiosity for prophecy buffs, dispensationalists, or people who enjoy charts. This is Bible doctrine. This is foundational. Romans 16:25 speaks of “my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began.” Ephesians 3 speaks of a dispensation of grace given to Paul and a mystery “which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men.” 1 Corinthians 4:1-2 says, “Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” The modern pulpit is filled with entertainers, therapists, motivational speakers, church-growth managers, and religious salesmen, but what God requires is a faithful steward. A steward does not own the treasure. He guards it. He distributes it. He does not bury it because it offends denominational tradition. He does not water it down because the crowd likes Matthew 5 better than Romans 5. He opens the Book, rightly divides it, and gives the saints what Christ gave through Paul. Chapter One: The Forgotten Apostle in Modern Christianity The great disease of modern Christianity is not that men never mention Jesus. They mention Jesus constantly. They sing about Jesus, advertise Jesus, brand their churches around Jesus, print red-letter slogans about Jesus, and tell lost sinners to “be like Jesus” until the sinner thinks salvation is a moral improvement program instead of a bloody redemption purchased at Calvary. The problem is not that Jesus is ignored as a name. The problem is that the risen Christ’s revelation through Paul is ignored as doctrine. There is a world of difference between quoting the Sermon on the Mount to build a social ethics club and preaching the gospel of the grace of God as

Spoke to a Salvadoran friend about it: “How widespread were the gangs? Was it as bad as people would make out?” “They were very widespread, it was bad. It hasn’t been exaggerated” “Someone like Bukele, he looks good from the outside just at a baseline but I assume from the inside, if you’re from El Salvador, you can really only understand his popularity if you’ve seen how El Salvador has changed firsthand” “Yes it is crazy the difference” “How so?” “The gangs would control territory in cities and rural zones and exclude outsiders, they would control movement and enforce their own rules. They ran extortion rackets where if you lived in their area you would have to pay them for protection, to run your business, sometimes even to enter and exit the territory. I guess you could say the commissions were like taxes, you know - like they were running their own microstates or states with a state. The difference maybe being that if you didn’t pay the commission they would drag you out into the town plaza and shoot you” “Competing gang leaders controlling territory like cholo neo-daimyos” “What?” “A daimyo, like a kind of regional warlord in Feudal Japan” “Well, yeah ok maybe it was kind of like that. So there was a patchwork of feuding gangs, competing for influence and territory in the country. MS-13, Barrio 18 these were the big two. Then La Mao-Mao, Los Pargos, Clica 503 and so on” “So these areas almost had de facto borders? They were quite stringently enforced?” “Sometimes the gangs set up checkpoints or roadblocks to mange who could enter neighbourhoods. They would shoot outsiders if you tried to enter. That sounds exaggerated but they really would. Sometimes people would wake up and there would be bodies on the streets from some commotion overnight. This was normal” “Is that not exaggerated a bit? Was it not only in certain neighbourhoods?” “It wasn’t in every neighbourhood no but there were a lot of places like this” “How did they know if you weren’t from around the barrio?” “Well they knew everyone. So if you weren’t from around there and they saw that they would pull you up for questioning, sometimes for a mugging and a beating” “Right but this wasn’t happening constantly was it?” “Pretty regularly” “And in San Salvador [The Capital] too? With the Government presumably able to assert itself more there? How did that work?” “So in the 2010s at least half, maybe more of San Salvador was controlled by the gangs. Actually maybe more. The government’s control was mostly limited to main roads, downtown business districts, and military/police bases. In many working class suburbs and informal settlements, barrios, gangs decided who entered not the police - who could open a business, when public transport could run” “Really?” “Yeah and public transport, you know I said every business (bakeries, bus lines, corner stores) had to pay a “renta” [weekly or monthly extortion fees] to whichever gang claimed the block? Well transport companies had to pay two rival gangs simultaneously if routes crossed territorial lines. Refusal was like okay arson, we are going to burn your office down or maybe murder you” [Between 2015 and 2018, at least 1500 bus drivers were killed nationwide, many in the capital area] “Why did the Government not do anything about it?” “Well partly Human Rights, legal, political limitations all this, but also the police and judiciary were riddled with collaborators. Out of fear often, which you understand, but also sometimes they were getting kickbacks. Then also a mentality like, well “we will mediate with the gangs, let them administer their own justice, look the other way to keep the keep the peace.” And so on.
