It was a joy to engage with these students athletes over the past season. I'm happy to see them gain some well-earned recognition. As strong as they were on the field, they were equally strong off the field and away from games for this team.

@barstoolsports No. He let up and didn’t even take him to the ground. The second guy only hit him because Stafford was knocked into him. He can’t control that. Hard hit and looked bad? Absolutely. Roughing the Passer? No.

@willcarling He didn't need to avoid the collision. He needed to accept the collision, like a soak tackle, he could have simply gotten run into. Instead he turned and stuck in a shoulder, hip and elbow. His decision, not a "reaction", not a play for the ball that resulted in a collision.
