@TMFAssociates Agree but think that these companies will find some magic way to pass off costs to consumers (they always do)

It's obvious that no-one will pay $20/month for Alexa+ when you can get it bundled for free. Why would anyone think that T-Mobile offering the choice of paying $20/month for Starlink D2D or getting it free with a bundle establishes the value of D2D service?

Today I watched Andy Jassy and other Amazon executives unveil a long-awaited revamp of Alexa, meant to be a chattier, more personalized version of the assistant. But the question Alexa still really has to answer is how it can make money. My column @theinformation linked below

These YC ideas in my discipline are so bad - like so comically bad it must be fraud. Is this true of others disciplines too?? and I just never knew it?

"There could be 648 million humanoid robots moving around us by 2050, says Citi. The total addressable market (TAM) for humanoids may reach $209 billion by 2035 and $7 trillion by 2050." Everyone knows there will be actually 649.43 million humanoid robots in 2050.

@GrantObi lol actually, Microsoft dumping off all the low margin hardware and keeping all the high margin compute/AI, pretty smart

Palmer Luckey is a pioneer in strapping a screen to your face and now a pioneer in silicon valley military contracts. This must be a crossover episode.

Canceling SLS won’t release that funding for other NASA resources it’ll just totally eliminate it. No increases anywhere else, just less money overall. I don’t think this is as positive some people may think. Especially pulling with work to be done on sustainable substitutes.
