Hot take and I love both dearly but I think if you're deranged enough to buy a NFT token in 2026 then $ape at 160m fdv with 0 unlocks is a lot more attractive than $pengu at 800m fdv with lots of unlocks I see lots of (incentivized?) posts about one but not many about the other

NFT floor prices are up, but holder count isn't moving at the same pace. For example, BAYC floor price is up +128% over the last 30 days. Holder count barely moved (+0.63%). Many of the buyers have been existing holders, or at least wallets already active in the space. There is no fresh blood coming into the NFT market yet, which can be interpreted in two ways: 1) It's a hot potato game in which the same, small group of people buying and selling to each other. 2) There is plenty of room to grow once actual new players come in. Maybe a mix of both
