After todays 7-5 win at Solway Sharks we will finish in 8th place in the away table. Incredibly we have won 5 (all in regulation) away matches out of the last 6!

Once again we subbed off one of our best players, Palmer, who would have thought that was a tactic that doesn’t work!

FT 1-1. A good first half where we took the lead from a fantastic Lawrence shot and missed 2 sitters. Felt like we declared at HT and 2nd half was poor. They equalised late on from a well taken free kick but Keeley shouldn’t have been beaten by it.

Luton Town vs Stockport County #COYH (the Luton variant). Massive game this one, really need the win.

The 4-3 home win over Romford Raiders confirms that we will finish the season with the 2nd best home record in the league!

MKL 4-3 Raiders. Perhaps unsurprisingly in a dead rubber game this match was played like a training game for long periods. Raiders led by 0-2 & 1-3 and looked like taking the points but 2 rocket shots in the final 5 minutes turned the match on its head and gave Lightning the win

@mkcobbler82 I'm hoping we are taking it easy for the playoffs, yesterdays match had all the intensity of a challenge game until the Bison nettie decided to liven the game up.

Didn't expect Luton to be the positive of the weekend! After a poor couple of matches MKL will now finish either in 6th or 7th, with Telford guaranteed to be in our playoff group.

MKL 4-5 (OT) Bison. Not sure how to feel after that game, I’d have been delighted with a point at 3 down and not playing well but to get 4-3 up (with some thanks to the antics of the Bison net minder) and only get a point feels very disappointing.

Should have been a #FullHouse, it would have been if Luton hadn't handed 3 goals on a plate to the opposition yesterday. @Bagshothatter

MKL 4-2 Pitbulls. A straight forward win against a battling Bristol side, we didn’t reach the heights of recent matches but done more than enough for both points. 7 wins in a row, hitting form at the right time? Let’s hope so.

Well on top at 2-1 looking for a third then sat back with a long time remaining, twice caught dicking around at the back. It's almost as third tier defenders aren't good enough to play out from the back.

Luton 2-3 Reading. I assume this was a friendly as there is no way a professional football club would have gifted 3 goals for the opposition like we just did in a competitive fixture. We played well for most of the match, shame we spoiled it by throwing the game away.
