@davechatterton1 @KatKanada_TM I'm sure the next time 4 MPs from the Liberals cross the floor within 6 months, he'll be asked the same question. BTW, the US owns the majority of Canadian media.

@KatKanada_TM The trash Canadian media would never ask Mark Carney such a blunt question. Instead they ask him softball questions. They are bought and paid for by the Liberals.

CTV REPORTER: How many of your MPs do you have to lose to the Libs before reflecting on your political future as leader. POILIEVRE: My leadership does not come from dirty backroom deals. It comes from the people of Canada. Record-breaking 8.3 MILLION people voted Conservative & 87% backed Poilievre's leadership less than 90 days ago.

U.S. Ambassador to the Holy See Brian Burch reveals that Cardinal Christophe Pierre confirmed the Pentagon did not threaten the Vatican: "I was pleased to speak today with His Eminence, Cardinal Christophe Pierre.  As expected, he confirmed that recent media characterizations of his meeting with Undersecretary Colby are 'fabrications' that were 'just invented.' Given the intelligence and seriousness of Mr. Colby, I was likewise not suprised when His Eminence acknowledged there were no threats of any kind in the meeting.  'It was a frank and cordial meeting that took place two months ago.' Threat of Avignon? 'None.'"

@trlaughlin @enfant_criminel @guyfelicella Axe the Tax; No GST on new homes; Income tax cuts - All in Poilievre’s platform for months before Carney ever showed up, but it’s understandable that those who ignore everything Pierre says would think these were Carney’s ideas, LOL

This might go down as the biggest political collapse in Canadian history. From a promised supermajority to his own party abandoning ship. He didn’t just lose the election, he lost his seat, and they still brought him back. 🤯 Let that sink in.

Under Secretary of War for Policy Elbridge Colby @USWPColby had a substantive, respectful, and professional meeting with Cardinal Pierre, the then-Papal Nuncio, and his team on January 22, 2026. During the cordial meeting, they discussed a range of topics, including issues of morality in foreign policy, the logic of the U.S. National Security Strategy, Europe, Africa, Latin America, and other topics. Cardinal Pierre expressed his appreciation for the outreach and both sides looked forward to continued open and respectful dialogue. In light of grossly false and distorted recent reporting, the Department of War repeats its statement: Recent reporting of the meeting is highly exaggerated and distorted. The meeting between Pentagon and Vatican officials was a respectful and reasonable discussion. We have nothing but the highest regard and welcome continued dialogue with the Holy See.

I’m ready to fight like hell for this country, and against anyone trying to tear it apart. The richest man in the world wants Canada to become the 51st state and is now amplifying Alberta separatism. So let’s ask the question: Who is funding this movement? Albertans deserve to know.

@kylegriffin1 You mean the one signed Love Melania where she asks her to give Melania a call when she is back in town? That sounds casual. 🙄

Melania Trump just confirmed that she exchanged email with Ghislaine Maxwell at least once. 'My email reply to Maxwell cannot be categorized as anything more than casual correspondence. My polite reply to her email doesn't amount to anything more than a tribal note.'

@ForMYCanada Also democracy in action: 152,000 members voted in Liberal Leadership Convention last year (40% turnout). This year at Con Leadership Convention: 2,558 which was considered to be a 95% turnout. Which is practicing democracy? No wonder the Cons are stuck with the leader they have.

🇨🇦 Seeing a lot of dramatic claims today about Canada “losing democracy.” Let’s slow down and look at how our system actually works 👇 🗳️ Canadians vote for Members of Parliament in their ridings, not directly for a Prime Minister. 🏛️ The Prime Minister is simply the leader who can command the confidence of the House of Commons. 🔄 If MPs choose to sit with another caucus, it can change the balance of power in Parliament. That’s not a coup. That’s how the Westminster parliamentary system has functioned since Confederation. Do people like floor crossing? Many don’t. And that’s a fair political debate. But it has happened under governments of every political stripe. ⚠️ Claiming it’s “the end of democracy,” or threatening another convoy if Parliament shifts, isn’t defending democracy. It’s misunderstanding it. Debate the politics. Hold MPs accountable. But don’t pretend the rules of our system suddenly changed. #Canada 🇨🇦 #CanadianPolitics #Parliament #Democracy

Pierre Poilievre comments on the floor crossing of Marilyn Gladu: "I feel badly for Ms. Gladu's constituents, the strong majority of whom voted for our Conservative vision of an affordable and safe Canada." "I believe that constituents in her riding and every riding should be able to petition for a by-election whenever a member of parliament changes parties."

Canada is in a quiet democratic crisis. With 5 MPs crossing the floor to join the Liberals, the will of Canadian voters is being undermined by Carney's desire for a majority and the perfidious nature of those enabling him. For our democracy to work, Canadians must be able to trust it. Floor crossing undermines that trust. cbc.ca/news/politics/…

The Israeli Defense Forces have issued an evacuation order for Beirut’s Jnah area, which includes two major referral hospitals; the Rafik Hariri University Hospital and Al Zahraa Hospital. At this time, no alternative medical facilities are available to receive approximately 450 patients from the two hospitals (including 40 patients in the ICU), rendering their evacuation operationally unfeasible. Both facilities are operating at full capacity, including treating the injured from the strikes of 8 April. This zone also encompasses the @mophleb complex, and hosts five shelters accommodating more than 5000 people. I urge Israel to reverse this order and ensure the protection of all health facilities, health workers, patients and civilians.

🚨🚨 Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: In light of Lebanon’s repeated requests to open direct negotiations with Israel, I instructed yesterday to begin direct negotiations with Lebanon as soon as possible. The negotiations will focus on disarming Hezbollah and establishing peaceful relations between Israel and Lebanon. Israel appreciates the Lebanese prime minister’s call today to demilitarize Beirut

@Cherniak If liberals were so confident that their policies are working, why won't they let the Canadian public decide and hold a general election?

There’s lots of talk about what the Gladu floor crossing means. In my view, it means that even somebody like her who disagrees strongly with many Liberal policies recognizes that this government is good for Canada. As long as the Liberal Party is not changing its policies to accommodate her, there is no reason to question where we stand on the issues on which she disagrees. Any Canadian willing to support the Liberals despite holding some views that the Liberal Party opposes should be welcome as long as they do not try to change what we stand for or make statements that would sow division. #cdnpoli

@GayRepublicSwag As soon as it becomes a defensive war, give them a call. They'll be there like they were the last time the US was attacked after 9/11. In the meantime, try giving the Board of Peace a call. What are they up to these days, anyway?

@RealAlbanianPat Wow. Who’s removing him?? I’m always amazed at how quickly people fall into the liberals trap. Who do you think is orchestrating this? The liberals want to eliminate Poilievre at any cost. Posts like this are exactly what they want. Help them sow their seeds of dissent.
