As I told @jonfavs, If AI isn't safe for kids, it shouldn't be available to kids. I delivered the strongest AI safety bill in the country here in NY, but there's more to do. In Albany, I'm advancing a bill with @Gonzalez4NY that would prohibit AI companies from making their products available to kids if they don't make them safe for kids. I'm running for Congress to do the same, and to make sure no parent is forced to share the Raine family's pain.

Politics Twitter would be a much better place if all us posters was forced to watch even just one (1) swing/sporadic voter focus group a month. Polls have their place, but nothing replaces hearing people in their own words. It’s a really good way to, effectively, touch grass.

Kat Abughazaleh, one of the defendants, cried out when she heard the charges were being dismissed with prejudice. That means the prosecutors can't re-file the charges.

1. It's hard to imagine anyone handling anything worse than Ken Martin handled the DNC autopsy. It was a disaster of his own making, and it's sufficient evidence that he is not the right person to lead the DNC at this time.

Sen. @brianschatz: Gas is at $4.55 nationally. Food prices are rising at the fastest rate in years. Electricity is through the roof. Millions of people are losing healthcare. Hospitals are closing. Housing is unaffordable for many people, and everything costs more because of tariffs. But there is apparently enough money for a ballroom, to quadruple the size of ICE, and to spend a billion dollars a day on a war of choice.
