If you ever wonder just how childish some people in the space are, I went to a VC event in NYC last April and met a group of really nice people, they approached me to say hello and we chatted for a while. As I left the event I walked out the front door and the group of men I had literally just met were stood around like children, mocking me in a high pitched voice ‘look what a dumb fucking feminist I am’. They didn’t see me and if this was you I hope you read this and feel embarrassed. I share this to highlight - people will literally say anything to your face and the opposite behind your back and vice versa. Don’t pay attention to that and just keep working for the people that DO take you seriously. Everyone else is just a distraction.

They say you shouldn’t talk about your failures but here is one of mine from this week. One of the mirrors at @lumestudios_ warped. We tried to glue it to the wall, it cracked, broke into tiny shards and because it was so heavy we had to chop it into pieces using a circular saw. What a nightmare!!
