There’s a good chance we’ll see some kind of nuclear “crisis” coming from one of the theatre wars in the next years. Israel, Iran + #UAE all have nuclear complexes near combat zones. A meltdown would create significant human devastation falling short of mutual assured destruction

@Dzokavaac It’s on social media clearly. The thing is, their posts are vague, since saying the strait is open, while sticking with Irans maritime policy “toll booth” is the same as saying it’s closed, with ships needing IRGC consent to pass. Either bad diplomatic or something else at play.

This may be his last tweet. But he did say that “on condition of the Iranian port authority (IRGC). This is the defacto position since Iran announced the blockade of strait of Hormuz. It’s vague and it’s clearly causing a rift on social media over the choice of words used.

In line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all commercial vessels through Strait of Hormuz is declared completely open for the remaining period of ceasefire, on the coordinated route as already announced by Ports and Maritime Organisation of the Islamic Rep. of Iran.

A group calling itself Ashab al-Yamin claimed to target Israeli embassy in London w/ a “radioactive substance”. I don’t think the substance hit the embassy itself but the response has been significant. Police were seen around the bandstand area (red box) and the park, closed.
